Homebase - Basildon Avis 

We recently visited Homebase in Basildon (Vange) to view some furniture for my elderly parents. We were very impressed with the tidiness of the store and the vast range of products on offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful to us, including the store manager and Dee on the front desk. Thankyou for all your help!

Went into Basildon store to purchase 6 dining chairs, they only had 2 in store. Dee was so helpful in sourcing the location of 4 more chairs in another branch (Romford). Selg the Store Manager said he would collect the 4 chairs on his way home from work and bring them to Basildon for me to collect the following morning.
Wow!! This service went over and above any previous customer service I have encountered. So friendly and welcoming. Dee & Selg you have been amazing!! Well done Basildon Branch

Ordered on line very easy I received my confirmation of my order very quickly was inform about my delivery when my item was coming first class service

It was refreshing to receive such fantastic customer service when ordering our new kitchen. It was truly a pleasure working with Clarissa to finalise the design and order, she really made all the difference! I would further point out that other staff and the manager of the branch have all been extremely friendly and helpful during our visits to the store - it’s great to see this type of hands on service in a day and age of internet and call centres!

Having inherited the garden as my responsibility- and being new to it - I have a million questions at all times. The staff at Homebase, Vange are without exception helpful, polite and friendly despite always being busy. Because I focus on the garden centre I always look for Irene to give me assistance due to her knowledge and approachability. She helps me willingly even though my questions are endless and come in many parts. Thank you to the shop floor staff but in particular Irene my garden guru.

Returned broken tiles floor ceramic which I had ordered because they was broken had lift from trolly to counter go get more from selves lift again then lift back in car the reason I ordered for delivery was because I can't jift man walking around but they never called him no apologies so rude

We had the pleasure of dealing with Kim earlier today, who could not have been more informative and helpful. We will definitely be visiting the store again.

Hello to you, all was well until I went to collect the goods, lady I dealt with was fine, no problems at all.
My concern is the 2 boxes were damaged, so much so that when I had them in the car I looked into them to see if the damage had got to my order, as far as I can tell ,they appear ok, I did not take them out of the boxes to check further.When I do take them out if they are damaged I will return them.However other than possible damage to the goods I am happy with the emails keeping me informed

I was happy with my item. But can't understand why the bulb for my standard lamp came later. So extra wrapping, more petrol used waste of Human Resources.

I collected my click & collect prefer and the assistant who served me was pleasant and helpful and placed my order on a trolley.
As I have breathing problems when I got to my car in a disabled bay another customer helped put my purchase in the back of my car.
I left my purchase in my car when I arrived home as I was quite breathless but on going to my car to get the purchase out a few days later you could see that the packaging had been very wet and probably left in the rain at the Homebase store
As I hadn’t handled this until I got the item out of my car a few days later I hadn’t noticed the cardboard packaging
The packaging box had obviously dried whilst in my car for a few days
The contents do however appear to be intact and not water damaged as far as I can see.
I have kept the packing in case there is an issue once the item is assembled.

Came in to have a browse around garden section wanted some assistance on orchids and was helped by a member of staff who was extremely knowledgeable with the questions i was asking . Very attentive knowledgeable man
