Homebase - Bishop Auckland Avis 

Contractual parking charge notice.

Not only did I spend over £300 in store but got lumbered with a parking charge for being 14 minutes over the allocated time. What kind of organisation charges people for spending money in store. ( One that's gone bust obviously). It's not like it's a pay and display car park. I thought you would want people to browse and spend. Not surprised people don't go in store when you can go to B and Q for free.

The girl behind the desk was more interested in talking to one of the customers than trying to serve her and get the cue down. They were not talking business, just general chit chat

Returned some spoiled paint to the store and was looked after by Donna and Kirsty (with assistance from Paul). All staff members were helpful and tried everything they could to ensure I ended up with a product that was fit for purpose in the colour I had chosen. Not only were they lovely when dealing with me but it was clear that they all had a good working relationship with excellent leadership demonstrating an efficient managerial style A true credit to the store and company. A happy well led workforce who feel valued and supported result in better customer care and these staff demonstrated all of these attributes in abundance.

First visit to the store what a super bunch they are!.
Absolutely nothing was too much trouble very helpful in all that I asked about.
Mentioned to my daughter will be visiting back very soon!!! 👏👏

The is a belated review.... I came alone with my 2 & 4 year old to collect an order- thinking I'd be able to easily get it in my car hahaha I was mistaken.

It was a busy Sunday at 1pm, sun was shining, it was the middle of summer and I decided to go and collect my 3 pieces of garden furniture. The store was really busy but PETER AND PAUL of Bishop Auckland came and helped me. We ended up having to take everything out of the cardboard, which they disposed of for me, and I did 2 trips- both times they came and helped work out how on earth we would fit it all in. I couldn't even get my boot cover detached off the back seats. Luckily Peter had a similar car previously and ended up, upside in the boot unclipping it and sorting everything.

I would have been absolutely screwed without these two. I found my QR code yesterday after promising I would leave a review for all their help, and losing it. So have a 3 minth delay on this but they made a hard job a lot easier. Thank you for everything

I forgot to take my mobile phone with me on which my order number and confirmation was stored .. I thought I may have to travel 8 miles back home to collect it … explained the situation at the collection point and the support provided couldn’t have been better … what could have been a nightmare was not a problem at all ….

Kirsty went above and beyond to locate some storage boxes for me which weren't on the shelves but were showing as "in stock" on the computer system. She took the time to look and as a result I was able to buy exactly what I'd went to Homebase for. A very satisfied customer and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Ordered a lawn mower was waiting at store when we got there.the only down side was we were unable to set up a account on line so missed out on a 10% discount

Shannon was so very helpful and went out of her way to show me the orchid feed I needed and also gave me some great advice .

Very helpful staff at Bishop Auckland in carrying item to our van. Ordered and collected within an hour through click and collect.
