Homebase - Cookstown Avis 45

Shabby service !!!
Bought a tap for my kichen was wrongly advised in store on the model. Needed to get it for my plumber in advance Went back into change the model I needed was there and was more expensive .Refused any help whatsoever No exchange no refund !!what good is that to someone sitting with an item like a tap it wasn't a cheap run of paint !Contacted customer service apologies sent which weren't worth the paper they were wrote on still no soloution and no willingless to help a customer Apparently this is due to them closing down ?? What rights does the customer have because it's going into administration Apparently none! But if I had purchased online I could change it why is this ?? Loyal customer of homebase for years to be treated in this manner is disgraceful!! Buyer beware posters everywhere advertising great prices a little small one showing their refund policy ! Go figure !!

Very helpful pleasant staff who assisted me to take my item to the car.

I was given a completely different product than I ordered. My partner picked it up and didn't notice until he got it home that it was a hedge trimmer and not a leaf blower. Have to go all the way back to get it changed.

Takes too long to process order to pick up. 30 mins it took from order before it generated a txt gor pick up. Quicker to walk in and just buy it of counter. If argos can do it why cant Homebase!!

Atleast one frame broken and put into the middle of the rest to hide! Not impressed if I find anymore broken the lot will be going back!!

Today as always it was a pleasure to shop at Homebase Cookstown. The staff are always so helpful. I love to walk around the shop and see all the displays and get ideas for future home projects!

Customer service was excellent. Our cashier- Michael went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.

Quick and efficient nice friendly staff

I asked a lady where to find scissors and it was no bother to her straight away I got them. Then I asked a young man about hanging basket brackets and on the ball he took me straight to them both very pleasant helpful staff

Very helpful staff in Cookstown, helped us to source in another store what they were out of stock in Cookstown.Great advice to use the click & collect which we did & picked up in Omagh next morning.

Michael on the full who got me my click n collect order was excellent. His pleasant manner and attention to detail is to be commended. Even though I’d met him before he insisted I show him my ID. Homebase are very fortunate to have this man as an employee.

Easy and quick collection

Ordered the item, showed 4 in stock, drive to store to collect when I received text saying order was ready - to be told that the store didn’t actually have any of this outdoor storage unit in stock. “Sorry our system says we have 4 in stock but we don’t”….. No phonecall/text/email to warn me that the item wasn’t in stock. Really unimpressed so won’t be buying from Homebase again, will just order from Amazon instead (even though I prefer to support “local”

Went to till, only 1 open, was my turn to be served, goods on desk,cashier answered phone instead of serve me. Another cashier opened next till and from being 1st to be served was now 3rd. I feel as if I had phoned in , I would have got better service .

Off-hand Staff member.

Attitude of the staff member was indifferent and off-hand in it's dealings with me.

I arrived at 8:30 empty car park empty store. I asked if they could lift The compost into my boot hug immediately told me they couldn’t as there’s only two staff. I pointed out that there were no customers she reluctantly made a request for the other colleague to come lift the compost for me. He arrived and never spoke a word to me despite me thanking him for his help. Slammed boot down despite them not fitting and left . Such bad manners all round

Excellent ordering service. Items found easily. Site easy to manoeuvre. On collection order was ready and complete. Efficient and friendly member of staff. Thank you.
