Homebase - Dublin Nutgrove Avis 

Always a pleasure to go in.Great variety in strimmers and hedge trimmers.Been a customer for many years.All staff very helpful esp checkout and Caroline who is always so efficient and cheerful and the staff member in wheelchair also.
Sorry to see it go but I hope the staff continue with new group

Homebase are closing down in Ireland and have been advertising 20% off everything in store, however prices on everything thing have been inflated. In some cases the price is jacked up by 100%! Batteries is just 1 small example. I don't understand how this is legal!

I used to think that Woodies was a better provider of services, however upon reflection it has been made clear to me that Hombase Nutgrove is far superior. Thank you Andrew for opening my eyes and allowing me to see the error of my ways. 🫡

Terrible experience in store today , over heard two colleagues talking about theyre weekend of coke and alcohol binging when I searched for a manager I was informed this was one of them , evan and conor did not find I was correct in my distaste at their conversation but found it amusing , I was called a Karen as I walked away and could hear them cackling, I always thought homesbase to be a family friendly store , well not anymore

have spent over an hour trying to order something online {from Nutgrove, where I have often shopped in person and found staff to be wonderful } but website does not appear to cater for Ireland. !! Found no work-around. Got it from screwfix instead - ciaran

No Irish focused website, no one answers the phone in store (Nutgrove), online chat could not help either, no email for the local branch. Clearly not customer focused or hungry for business, which is now gone elsewhere

Conor in the nutgrove store in Dublin was an absolute champion. Saturday evening and was the most helpful person along with the rest of the staff on shift with him. The personification of customer service!

why when I look to buy anything online from a Homebase store in Ireland the prices are quoted in sterling surely this is against the law.

Faultless experience, spent a fortune on so many things and Andrew the assistant manager couldn't have been better 11 out of 10

We recently had a new kitchen and flooring throughout the house done by homebase. There were definitely a few "bleps" ! To say the least but Andrew the assistant manager in nutgrove homebase saved the day. He was always on the ball, a great communicator, always followed up on everything we needed, a great problem solver and definitely got us through the process where we had some challenges!! Andrew is definitely the go too person if there are any problems!! And we are very happy with our new kitchen and floors! Thank you Andrew - - Eimear & Mark Rathfarnham

Excellent friendly and efficient service.

I just visited Nutgrove Dublin. I am an older woman. I had no cash for trolley. Woman on desk said she couldn’t release one for me. She said there’s a flat bed one free. I said well I need help. 3 bags of 50 litres compost. I said can someone get that for me. She said no you bring in the trolley first. With great difficulty-steerage bad- I got the trolley. Nice young red haired lad helped me. I paid and he waited outside. Said you had to pull the trolley in reverse. Never again. She wasn’t apologetic in any way

was in the shop today just passing through and ended up with full trolley of plants and stuff for garden. selection is amazing, even got strawberries to hang in a basket. the young guy on tools was very helpful in getting me a trolley

There are no staff to assist when looking for things. The garden section is the saddest I’ve ever seen; all the plants are dying; it’s not due to the cold, no one is watering & maintaining the area
