Homebase - High Wycombe Avis 

A few weeks before Christmas, I visited the Homebase store in Loudwater, High Wycombe, and had the pleasure of being assisted by David in the paint section. David was exceptionally polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to navigate the wide range of paints available and choose the perfect one for my project. He also took the time to explain the colour mixing process in detail, ensuring I understood how the final shade would turn out. His patience and kindness made the experience truly enjoyable, and I felt inspired to write this review.
The next day, I returned to the store and had the good fortune of meeting George, who assisted me in the lighting and electrical socket section. Like David, George was incredibly polite and went above and beyond to help. He searched the shelves to find the ideal lighting solution for me and even assisted with locating an out-of-stock electrical socket. George’s helpfulness and friendly demeanour left a lasting impression.

The team at the Loudwater Homebase store is truly outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with was polite, patient, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. They are a credit to your business and a big reason why I’d highly recommend this store to others.

Spot on service as usual.. such a shame Homebase is closing… local store staff are great, they have been let down by the “suits” in the offices as per usual.. prices are high yes compared to rivals but the staff have imho always gone the extra mile to sort issues out… and yes I used to work in retail with 30 years experience.. if I see good service I tell them, conversely ditto on bad and I have never had to moan about Homebase floor staff.. management yes which luckily the CEO sorted out.

We used Emad at the High Wycombe store, he did a wonderful design job on our kitchen, we are really pleased with the end result and the service which has been provided.

Went to get some treated timber and needed it cutting down. Luke and Lewis were both very helpful in finding the timber and cutting it.

The Kitchen designer, Emad at High Wycombe branch was very helpful and proactive, He visited our home to measure on the same day and three days later we went in to look at the design, we were able to ask any questions and Emad went out if his way to go over any details. We ordered the kitchen and he has been extremely helpful,with any follow up questions and advise. We have not set a delivery time as we are arranging final details with installers.

Appears to be a sturdy piece of kit at a good price. Only time will tell on usage. Also had the option of a free battery which is always useful

After visiting Homebase High Wycombe on Saturday 12th October, I would just like to say how all staff were extremely helpful especially the Manager Luke , he pointed me in the right direction for a photo frame I wanted to buy and asked if I needed help with anything else , I had a good look around the very lovely lay out of all their Christmas decorations that looked amazing great choices of lights and decorations definitely going back .

The website was easy to use & pay for the items I wanted. Upon arrival I showed my order reference and directed to a trolley with my items. Checked to only realise that an item was missing. The bald lady that initially greeted us shouted that all 6 items were there. I stated that an item was missing to be immediately told it was out of stock. So I said then we only have 5 items, she just shrugged and said we would be refunded. I waited at the counter in case she needed my card to process the refund. After a moment or two, she says it’ll be done and I’ll receive confirmation via email in 15 minutes.
I felt that the staff were trying to dupe us in to just taking our order without checking and that to challenge them was inconvenient to them! Unfortunately this is not the first time I have witnessed this staff member being abrupt with customers & her colleagues, she always seems to be in a grumpy mood.

I had the most loveliest service at the Loudwater high Wycombe store from Julie. Terrific in all her advice on plants and so kind and sincere it was an absolute pleasure plus refreshing to find someone who really went the extra mile.
