Avoid online ordering!!
Ordered Dulux paint which was showing “in stock” for Click and Collect from Penge, assuming it would be ready same day after receiving email confirmation of order. Waited 2 days for text and tried emailing CS and calling store many times with no response. Finally, after a week they have emailed to cancel my order!!

I placed a click and collect on Friday afternoon. By Saturday afternoon I hadn’t had any notifications. Having then tried to ring them about twenty times without anyone answering I drove there on Sunday morning to find that my order was sitting there.

Staff really helpful as the lady on collections had lost her voice and had a little sign out to indicate. Very friendly and responsive.

Shopping at Homebase in Penge was an incredible experience. I've been to other Homebase locations, but this one is particularly special to me because the manager, Kumar, is a very kind man who helped us find everything we needed. My husband, our newborn, and I were a little confused about which wooden flooring to choose. I want to express my gratitude to Kumar. We couldn't fit everything in our car, so Kumar got us a van, and the following day we had our belongings. They assisted us in returning them and exchanging them for the correct ones, even after the engineer suggested that we switch the flooring we had chosen due to the clicking system.

Who on earth thinks that a Homebase where one buys big items or repeat ones should have such tiny trolleys and very few of them too. Couldn’t fit what I wanted in them and went elsewhere.

I ordered 10l of emulsion and 2.5l of gloss paint. Not only did Homebase stock it but they also had a buy 1 get one 1/2 price deal on which saved me a substantial amount. The whole click and collect process was simple and problem free.

Professional efficient service

I wanted a selection of paint for a project and did some research on the Web. Homebase was comparable on price but had a reduction of 10% which was ending soon. I found all that I wanted online and ordered it easily for Click and collect in an hour. I received a SMS saying it was ready for collection. Collection was very easy. All around a good experience.

Really helpful assistant

The service was really great and I love using Homebase!

I wanted to buy a display sofa that was no longer available to buy, Josh was very helpful in looking into wether or not they could sell display sofa as it was new in to them. He helped to get it out of the store and into our van.
I definitely would say that the Penge Homebase staff do their best to be helpful as this is the second occasion that Josh has helped me. Thank you

The company management is excellent. The staffs are very good and they know how to welcome customers in the store. The items are well displayed and I received all my shopping items on time.

Collected my order from Homebase Penge, London. I was let down by the cab company I had booked and Collete was amazing. She found a local cab company (Clockhouse), who were there within 10 minutes and got me home safely.
Collete's team mates were fantastic, helping load my items into the cab - even protecting the cab boot with cardboard. Homebase bosses, look after this team.
