Smoked Bacon and Ham Dry Cure Mix
Tried the Smoked Bacon and Ham Dry Cure Mix on a bit of a whim and was amazed with the results. Couldn't have been easier. Took some pork belly, removed the rind, rubbed in the amount of cure for weight of meat, into a ziplock bag in the fridge, wait and that was it. Very tasty and really happy with the results.

Quick delivery, however, the wrong item was sent. Emailed immediately about the problem (12.40 pm). Was informed that the correct item would be dispatched straight away. True to their word, received the next day at 1.30pm.

I used to cure my bacon with various…
I used to cure my bacon with various famous tv chefs recipes etc. and they always turned out too salty, I bought the basic cure mix and did 1.5kg. Of pork loin, 8 days cure and a couple days drying in the fridge and it's perfect, I'll add a few aromatics, like bay and star anise next time. 👍🏻

Be happy: Surfy´s is here, again!
Before Brexit I used to rely on Surfy's for curing and seasoning products. Surfy´s was a very reliable partner in my work. But then came the barrier, Berxit suppled us with barriers and stupid bureaucracy.
Then one day I received an email with astounding news: Surfy's products are again available in Portugal (my very egoist point of view). It works and the products keep on having the same quality. Great
