Friendly and helpful customer service from the Mearns office staff and a superb, no mess installation of our new Consumer Unit by Nick the electrician. Nick’s work was the best I have seen. A well deserved 5 stars.

Another shoutout to rewire . Amy got me a date in the diary to suit my carpet fitters helpful professional service as always . Nick came and did a fab job ... professional prompt and even went to a get cables that i had forgot to buy .
Highly recommend this company so much so that my mum has scheduled in a few wee jobs too .

A massive thanks to Lewis, Thomas and Sam for rewiring my 3 bedroom house and garage in just one and a half days!!!! I was seriously impressed! Their work is outstanding! They are very professional and courteous too. Within minutes of answering the door to these guys, they had unpacked their equipment and materials and were in prepping my house for the rewire. A very tight military operation from beginning to end. They run through the agreed work before starting and so helpful, taking tkme to explain everything. I was impressed with how tidy they are...even mopping my floors before leaving! These guys are a highly focused, professional and skilled team. Their attention to detail was noticeable and so appreciated. They fitted a switch for my fridge which I hadn't even thought of. Their updates on their schedule were brilliant too. Please give these guys a bonus! 😊

I submitted a quote request online, and had a prompt callback from Amy to book a survey. I had three quotes prior to booking a survey with Home Rewire Scotland. Jamie's knowledge, the brochure, his attention to detail and professionalism gave me the assurance and confidence that this company were the best around. It was an easy booking to make! The survey, booking information and preparation emails were a great help. The communication from Amy / the office team in terms of emails and calls were prompt and so very professional. A great and smooth experience from start to finish.

We had jamie out at our house on the 27th of February for a survey, quote was sent over that same afternoon. We had the team( zack and ryan ) arrive at 07.00am on the 5th if march i instructed zack of where we wanted sockets,lights internal and external,external sockets and the mains power moved.

These boys dont mess about they went above and beyond and had our rewire done within a day and a half with very minimal disruption, everything we asked for was completed and all work was properly cleaned up afterwards. The level of professionalism home rewire showcased before, during and after was fantastic, if we had any concerns they put that to rest right away.

We then had stevie part of the home skim team out the following week to fully plaster our livingroom, stevie is a gentleman and had our place finished in 2 days and we couldn't of been happier with the quality of job he left.

Overall we had a fantastic experience with jamie and his team and would recommend them to anyone looking for a trouble free rewire.

I'm very happy to recommend Home Rewire. We need to speak to multiple companies for our home renovations and they stand out as highly organised, efficient and easy to deal with, removing uncertainty. Amy and Jamie have been so helpful, answering questions and keeping us informed. Zack, Ryan, Daniel and Gary were brilliant, turning up for an early start as promised and getting down to work immediately. It's amazing what they achieved in the time and how quickly and tidily they put the place back together. Despite warnings, it was hard to appreciate how dusty and disruptive the work was once it started. I'm so glad we moved out for a few short days rather than trying to live with the chaos over a longer period with an alternative company.

We have used Homewire three times now and they have always done an excellent job, this included a rewire. Our latest visit was from Nick who quickly resolved the loss of power to our garage. I recommend to family and friends and we will continue to use rewire for any electrical issues we have.

Great company, from the initial consultation to completion of the job everyone I spoke to was fantastic. Took the guys 2 days to rewire my 3 bedroom home and I honestly was expecting the worst mess, and to my delight it really was not too bad, been needing to decorate for a while anyway.

The service provided is very good. From the initial walk through, to the pre- installation visit letting you know what you need to do is really good. We got a full house rewire and it took them 2 days and the bulk of the house was left reasonably clean after they had finished.

Fast, efficient,friendly and professional

The quote was clear and it was easy to decide what we did and didn't require. The work was carried out efficiently and we were kept informed of how things were going. The electricians cleared up well at the end of the job; there was still a lot of cleaning and redecoration to be done, but this would be the case with any major rewire project and we were forewarned, so were able to prepare properly. From our experience I would recommend Homerewire.

Had HR in to completely rewire my new flat. Overall, excellent service: great communication and good, fast work.

Pros:
Great commuication - constant updates from office and workers about the job.
Fast work - got the whole flat done in just 2 days
Economical - cost ~£7k in total for a 2 bedroom flat
High quality - quality of work and quality of materials used is excellent
Excellent cleanup - all waste was cleared from the house, and all carpets and runner boards were put back as they were before. The wooden cladding in the kitchen, which I told them they could just cut through and discard, they carefully preserved and re-installed.

Cons:
Not decorators - I didn't pay for the additional service of them covering up the plastering work, and it kinda shows. I'll need to sand down and cover up all the plastering that has been done. All this isn't a massive job though, and it's the only minor blip on an otherwise excellent experience.

After experiencing two days of intermittent electricity at my rental property, it was discovered that the entire four-bedroom house needed to be rewired. Amy and Jamie were incredibly supportive, even staying late after 5 pm on a Thursday to talk me through my options and offer reassurance. Just ten days later, the rewiring work started and was completed in only two and a half days. Their empathy, care, and clear advice made what could have been a stressful situation for my Tenant and I, feel completely manageable. I couldn’t fault the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Zac and his team did a great job of rewiring my flat and was done very quickly There was some confusion over installation of a security light which will have to be installed later

Really impressed with this company, on my recent rewire of a 1 bedroom tenement flat. Jamie came round to quote at a time that suited my availability and took on board all my requests for the job. The quote was issued quickly and competitive with the others I had received. Once quote accepted, they were able to schedule the job when I wanted it done. On the day, the team arrived at time stated and then were finished within 1.5 days. Walk-round done with them to check everything was as I had requested. As the flat would be immediately lived in afterwards, I was keen that disruption was minimised, including that flooring in all but one room wasn't lifted and minimising cutting into plaster. They were able to accommodate and the cable routing was pretty smart in order to reduce the replastering required, so I am very happy with this. Overall, really smooth process, with no issues what so ever. Would highly recommend and would definitely consider using them again for further smaller works, or if I find myself needing to rewire a new property.

Delighted with everything, prompt quote, easy to use portal, good communication, guys were great who attended and completed work. Overall delighted 10/10 from me
