Be very aware of the refund process before booking Cap Hornu.
Although the hotel advertises free cancellation within the applicable cancellation period, receiving the actual refund is apparently subject to a minimum processing period of around 8 weeks.
In my case, because of the way the hotel handled the administration and only requested information from me much later, the refund process is now effectively running into 16 weeks or more.
So “free cancellation” certainly does not mean a prompt refund. If having your money tied up for potentially several months would be an issue, I would strongly suggest taking this into account before booking.
A very frustrating process and, in my view, something that should be made far clearer to customers at the time of booking.
