Howdens - Enfield Avis

I have found over the years that the Howdens brimsdown branch is the most helpful and friendliest branch in north London The staff are very accommodating because i know i can be quite demanding but they always sort out any difficulties in a professional and quick way.

Where fo I start, I purchase a kitchen from them in December and paid upfront on an agreed price . I bought the the kitchen in good faith to the agreed kitchen design. When my contractor started to fit the kitchen I was short of one wall cabinet, now remember I bought the kitchen on a design. So I went back and told them I was one missing. Instead they made me purchase the cabinet again so why would I pay for an another cabinet if I agreed a price on the kitchen plan. I then complained to head office and they agreed just to give half my money back. I shouldn’t have paid in the first place as I paid it on the design. Absolute disgraceful behaviour and I plan to take this further.

Being their customer for over ten years and recommending Howdens to my clients for their customer service and reliability, but this is not what I experienced on my last Kitchen purchase. I had the worst experience on the last kitchen i bought from Howdens in Brimsdown. Alot of things were missing or sent wrong and then I had to chase the staff for having them corrected and every time I was ringing I wasn't able to get in touch with the guy that has done the design. Always being told "He'll give you a ring back", but actually i had to jump in the car and call in the branch myself for a good number of times. Wall units were sent wrong colour, doors missing, extractor sent from a return as it was full of dust and incomplete, drawers wrong size, worktop profiles not enough and the list goes on! Anyway ultimately i managed to get everything replaced and finally to get the kitchen finished but when i got the bill home i was shocked to see that they charged me for the things they got wrong from the design and they had to replace.Howdens you really dissapointed me and i have never felt more robbed and let down than now! It is a thumb down from me

We have bought many Kitchens from Howdens over the years. We use the depot at Brimsdown.The team are very helpful. We like the fact that they keep their kitchens are nearly always in stock,and they come delivered assembled rather than flat pack ,any items that need replacing they deal with quickly and without fuss and prices are competitive

Always a pleasure to come to depo or over the phone very helpful staff and always ready to help with everything you need. They always provide new ideas and best prices.

Service good as usual. The carcasses could be better. Has gaps on the glued joints and as a result discrepancy in sizes. Wooden fronts also have discrepancy in size up to 3mm which is well to much for kitchens. Basically there is room for improvement.
