Howdens - Reading Avis 

Love our Howden kitchen, we placed a big order in Howden via Suzey. She has been helping us in the past couple of months from designing to fitting. There was endless back and forth during this process, she’s always been patient and get back to us promptly. Highly recommend Howden Reading Tilehurst team if you are looking for a new kitchen.

Two years ago Suzey from the Tilehurst Reading depo designed an amazing in frame kitchen. Our main goal was to have symmetry that gave the look of a handmade kitchen. Suzey understood exactly what we wanted and came up with a brilliant plan first time. We have had so many compliments on the kitchen since it has been fitted. Being in frame with skirting boards made it a lot more fiddly than a standard kitchen but Suzey explained everything to our fitter and provided great instructions. We have recently decided to do our utility / boot room and was thrilled to hear Suzey had returned after mat leave to our local depo. Again she has designed a perfect bootility for us. Our room has all of our services in and therefore required a lot of bespoke work. Suzey worked through all of this with us and came up with brilliant ideas to really maximise our storage without making the room look overcrowded.

On both occasions working with Suzey has been fab, she really listened to what we wanted and therefore came up with a design that we were really happy with. Suzey is very thorough and precise - she also loves symmetry like we do, we found her very easy to talk to and nothing was too much trouble.

I would recommend to anyone looking for a new kitchen or design to pay Suzey a visit. We have planned several kitchens before (with all different companies) for previous renovations but felt the service we received from Suzey has been by far the best! We really wouldn’t use anyone else now we have found our symmetry queen!

Also the quality of our Howdens kitchen is great - it still looks brand new after two and a half years of heavy family use. I would have the Howdens chilcomb range again and would highly recommend the in frame range for that handmade look!

We have purchased a lot of items from the Reading depo and all the staff are so helpful and knowledgable - clearly a great team that work well together. Our renovations have gone on for over two years so we seems to be quite regularly paying Howdens a visit for one thing or another. It’s great to also see the same staff members each time for continuity.

We recently went through a Kitchen design and installation with Howdens. Steve was there every step of the way to offer help and advice. From the first appointment measuring up, to the many meetings in his office to discuss layout, design and specification. No question was left unanswered and every minimal change we asked for was done without question. I would have no hesitation in dealing with Steve in the future.

Great service from Steve Grantham and the team at Howdens Reading Tilehurst. The Chilcomb kitchen in porcelain is great quality and looks terrific. Howdens lived up to their promise of being able to supply swaps or extras quickly from stock, same day for the ones we needed, which meant the kitchen was completed on schedule. We're delighted with our new kitchen.

Fantastic experience using Howdens in Reading (stadium way) - they covered all of our specs, designs with care and efficiency. We changed plans halfway and they were more than happy to accommodate while providing absolute honesty re appliances, and worktop decisions (+sorted a real competitive price).

We went through the process with other places but Howdens took the crown.

The team at Reading Howdens, particularly Stephen, have been amazingly helpful. Our prime contractor was disorganised and has subsequently gone into administration. Stephen did some amazing design work at the start of the project and then everyone at Howdens continued to help while my prime contractor and their employees didn't know what they were doing.

I would heartily recommend Howdens to my friends and family if they needed a new kitchen.

I always dealt with Reading Howdens branch despite living in London as I dealt with gentleman called Steve who now works in design team. Steve given me very competitive quote who tastefully designed kitchen for me. Steve was available every step of the way, whenever my fitter needed help he was straight on phone. Even when Steve went away for few days he delegated one of his colleague to ensure help was always at hand.

I have now become a lifetime customer due to Steve's dedication and excellent customer service.

Just great brilliant

I have been using the Reading branch of Howdens for a few years now and can highly recommend them, particularly for kitchens. Steve and the rest of the guys are very knowledgeable and friendly and are great at understanding what we require for our projects. In my opinion they are the best value for kitchens, doors, skirting boards, hardware and tools.

Stephen was excellent from the initial consultation, site visit and design meetings.
Stephen was polite, helpful and knowledgeable, worked hard to ensure our purchase was a pleasant experience.
