My experience with hughes at Leeds was nothing but perfection.Chris and Paul I can’t thank you enough for the help though my training,top set of lads,would recommend to anyone

I passed my class 1 and Leeds depot, the people there make it easy explain everything and make the whole experience smooth, everyone there is helpful and even though I had a different instructor for the last two days it didn’t change and thing as they’re all absolutely class.

Thank you Andy B for helping me pass my class 2 test first time. Couldn’t have done it without the fantastic training and knowledge.

Had keith instructing me the last 3 days before my test and was a massive help very patient and a great instructor passed my class 1 straight from a car 1st time

Passed my class 1 test first time and a huge thanks to Nick, he was brilliant.

I did have to change instructors due to disagreements with another instructor, which wasn’t ideal and it was rather unprofessional on their behalf.

Nick was patient and really personable, an excellent teacher with lots of experience, exactly what you want when learning. Couldn’t have done it without him!

Had a 4 day course in the Leeds depot this week. Amazing staff from Paul my instructor very polite kind friendly. Explained everything in detail very easy to understand. Made me feel so comfortable when driving amazing bloke. And I wouldn’t have passed without his help. Then mark he helped me with my cpc module 4 explained everything so I could understand it and got me ready for my cpc test great bloke. Then Greg the instructor who did my cpc and reverse test. Same again made me feel very comfortable during my test parts didn’t rush me very polite. Had an amazing week with them and I would highly recommend going there if your wanting to do your Hgv licence, I will be back next year to do my class 1 there with them

All the trainers and in-house examiners are great guys and have plenty of expierience between them, they won't waste your time and get straight into the training direct and firm with the teaching and easy to understand.

I completed an intensive week-long training course arranged through Network Rail.

My trainer, Chris B, was exceptional throughout. He was patient, highly knowledgeable and, importantly took the time to understand how I learned, and communicated the subject in a way that worked for me. His approach made a real difference to my confidence and understanding.

I’m pleased to say I passed the C&E with just one minor fault. More importantly, Chris gave me the practical tools, advice and confidence I needed to take the next step into the profession.

I’m genuinely grateful for the time, guidance and encouragement Chris gave me throughout the course. His professionalism and commitment to getting the best out of his students are a real credit to Hughes.

Even if I hadn’t passed, Chris had given me the motivation and knowledge to keep going and succeed. That says a lot about the quality of instructor he is.

My training from my instructor Keith was great, he is a lovely calm and pleasant man if I made a mistake he would always point it out with clear precise instructions and bring out the best of me.

Nick is the driving instructor you want, even though I failed but that’s my fault. Honestly he’s the guy.

It was easy to contact the company and find a course near me to progress from Class 2 to Class 1 for an agreeable price. Adrian was my instructor and his communication, patience and confidence in me was so reassuring and made the learning process so smooth! If I were to be in contact with Hughes for more training, I would request him if I could.

A huge thanks to Hughes Driver Training for the success in my class 2 training passed first time🎉‼️. The instructors were brilliant could not thank them enough. A huge thank you especially to Paul without him I wouldn’t be where I am today. 🙌 Will highly recommend HDT will be coming back for my class 1 training 🙏.

Avoid this company. Think twice before spending your hard earned money or finance on this scam company. They promise 24hours training in 5 days but the instructors expect you to arrive as an expert driver on day 1. I was left with outstanding training hours and no proper opportunity to complete the training and take the test. The way this was handled was extremely poor and has left me seriously questioning the value and transparency of the service I paid for.

Think twice before giving this company your money. Keep records of every training hour and get everything in writing. I don’t know how other branches are, specifically, Loughborough is a very horrible branch. Instructors have mood swings and they can decide to cancel you at anytime without warning.

Honestly, you will even learn better from YouTube than them.

Avoid this company at all cost. If you must use them, avoid Loughborough branch. Bunch of impatient and rude inconsiderate instructors.

My 4 days training with Nick was excellent. Passed first time with zero faults all because of nicks guidance and confidence in his training

A very good experience with Hughes driver training from start to finish. A big thank you to Ady for this week, Ady is a top man and very knowledgeable. Lots of information passed over to myself and made my experience so enjoyable. I had a very good laugh throughout the course.

Had my class 2 training this week with Nick from the Northampton branch. Absolutely loved it, the pass was the cherry on top. Nick was a top man, would highly recommend.

The whole experience from meeting Neal to passing was flawless, Neal took every oprtunity to guide me in a way that stuck in my head and made me feel so comfortable and confident. He's a credit to HDT. Thanks.

I recently completed my HGV driver training and successfully passed my test, and I couldn't have done it without my instructor MARK.

From day one, he was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and supportive. He explained everything clearly, gave me the confidence I needed, and always encouraged me to improve. Even when I made mistakes, he remained calm which really helped me stay focused. His method and friendly nature made the whole training experience enjoyable and much less stressful.

Also Not to forget about GREGG, who was also a great instructor. I got to learn from him for a very short period of time but he showed great support and help.

I truly appreciate everything you did to help me pass!

Great experience with these Lads in the meadow field Durham branch, Richard is an exceptional instructor, only criticism is they could do with some newer trucks which would benefit the trainers and ultimately the new drivers
