We respect all feedback, but this review leaves out key facts. The project was originally built many years ago, and the third-party codebase and dependencies became outdated over time. We clearly explained—multiple times—that continuing on the old code was no longer technically feasible and that a rebuild was required. The quoted $9,000 was not an “extra demand,” but the documented cost to upgrade the legacy code so the app could function reliably on current platforms.

The client chose not to proceed with the upgrade and still requested the app to run on outdated versions, which is technically impossible. We cannot deliver a stable product on deprecated code that is no longer supported by the underlying platforms.

We remain committed to resolving any legitimate concerns and can review everything again if the client wishes to move forward with the necessary upgrade.

Hi Hector,

We sincere apologise for the inconvenience. This is definitely not the experience we want our customers to go through. We truly strive as a Customer-Obsessed company. We take pride for taking ownership and caring about our customers.

Upon reviewing the timeline of your project, we found a few critical omissions in your narrative and we would like to outline them for our readers to get an unbiased view.

- The contract with clear scope of work, project deliverables and payment milestones was agreed and signed between us on 6th Nov’21.
- You worked with the BA and UI team in completing the entire project wireframes for your project till 18th Jan’ 22 with regular feedback.
- You also sent a written sign off on the finalised wireframes via Figma tool (we are not disclosing any links / data in order to maintain your project data confidentiality).
- On an email dated 19th Jan to us, you asked us to pause the project because you had some issues with arranging the funds to which our team responded that we would continue developing the project in goodwill without worrying about the funds. However, you insisted to stall the project until further response from your end.
- Between the project start date till 18th Jan’22, we have delivered complete set of wireframes duly signed off by you, set of UI designs, brand logos and had also initiated backend development work. This amounts to more than 180 hours of work.
- You went out of communication after 23rd Jan’22 and several of communication attempts to you were failed with no answer/email response.
- On 6th May, you filed a chargeback on the advance deposit without any communication whatsoever. The request for refund however, was turned down as per our Refund Policy mentioned on our website and on the contract signed between us.

Hector, we would be happy to work with you; however, given the route you chose to execute a refund scam and the amount of work delivered to you with clear confirmation from your end, the claim can not be accepted. We thrive on providing a happy experience to all our clients, no matter what. However, we definitely need you to stay aligned with the terms and contracts signed as much as you will want us to deliver on our promises within the schedule.

Upon reviewing the timeline of your project, we found a few critical omissions in your narrative and we would like to outline them for our readers to get an unbiased view.

- The scope of work and agreement was finalised between us on 15th July’21.
- The advance deposit came from your consultant on 12th Aug’21, about 4.5 weeks after the agreement was signed.
- A part of the scope of work was delivered during the week of 23rd Aug’21.
- Since the other remaining part of the project was contingent upon your consultant delivering us some assets (not disclosing to maintain confidentiality), we had to wait until 27th Aug’21 when we received the initial draft from the consultant.
- About two weeks later, we sent the first draft for you to review. And it took about two weeks at your end to revert with feedback.
- Often times, we’d wait for weeks from your end to receive copies for various screens resulting a few days of the project extending to weeks.
- As suggested a few times earlier, in a fixed price project, we depend upon your timely feedback to keep the team engaged. In the absence of feedback for weeks, we reschedule the team as you’ve opted out for ZERO-HOUR billing.
- We agree that in the entire course of the development, the Project Manager was sick for a week during the Pandemic and we kept you informed and we apologised for the delay and expedited the development further.
- You missed to highlight the fact that we were also asked several times to fix errors in the web app from your previous developers and we did in good faith.
- As of now, the project has been deployed successfully on your server, thoroughly reviewed by you and duly confirmed by your consultant to be running in accordance with the scope of work.
- Should you encounter any problem in it, please reach out to us and we will be happy to fix it for you.

We thrive on providing a happy experience to all our clients, no matter what. However, we definitely need timely response and feedback. In the absence of timely response, feedback and necessary assets critical to project launch, we can never be on schedule.
