Absolutely horrendous.
Absolutely horrendous.
I was charged $1075 over a few months just because I needed to use the software ONCE. They would not delete my account, and when they finally deleted it they kept charging me afterwards. I’m currently trying to get a refund and if I don’t get it I will take the matter further.
As a broke student $1000 for nothing is a lot of money to waste.
No more AI! Keep the human touch
I don't have any direct contact with IBM but I keep seeing their commercials about this AI. It's ridiculous! Nobody's using it for good it is not helpful except to the people who are trying to use it and it's going to be taking even more jobs! Don't be so lazy people do your own work keep your job stay off welfare cuz I'm sick of paying for it. If you want to help businesses IBM then teach them how to run their business as an educated and informed business owner not a business owner who is going to replace all their employees by more computer-generated mistakes. So far I have not had a lot of interaction with AI but the interaction I have had has been nothing but a hassle has been wrong information and a joke. And I feel the same way about any businesses that are trying to promote this train wreck

Where good things go do to die.
Watch the once great IBM acquire random companies and milk them for all they're worth. IBM once stood up for open source, but then they acquired Hashicorp and didn't return anything to the open source community. That's the most recent reason why IBM is where good things go do to die.
Scam you out of your money
Had to get an SPSS package for research. I bought a 1 month subscription. They have been charging me for months and I wasn’t aware. It’s on a shared account and wasn’t monitored. I tried to cancel it and I keep being passed from email to email. Please do not subscribe they are robbers
A TOTAL DISASTER.
A TOTTAL DISASTER.
IMPOSSIBLE TO CREATE A SIMPLE ACCOUNT.
They offer services they claim are free for some limit but the reality is very different they oblige you to put your credit card to absorb discretly your money instead of just blocking you and ask you to pay only when you reach the limit a technique used to steam money from people. These people are crazy and website is total disaster. IBM does not know how to create a proper website. If you need help i'm a developer i think i can help i'm pretty sure i will do better than that haha
Update - IBM still hates customers
Update: IBM is still trying to bill me almost 3 months later for thousands of dollars in cloud services I was locked out of and can't cancel on my own. Absolutely not recommended.

I do not know how they manage to SUCK
I do not know how they manage to SUCK.
I have never used any paid service. But was charged. ASked them to close my account, they said yes, in three days they will close. yet I was charged again from two different accounts, which I have no idea. And what is more frustrating is not getting any replies to your emails. They keep charging you like your bank account belongs to them. IT IS ANNOYING AND DISGUSTING. WHO RUNS THIS PLACE?!!
Subjective
Hi There,
I never knew that IBM Manila Recruitment team will be biased with their hiring process. They even ghost candidates. I applied for the collections role.
Thanks!
When a Giant Sells You a Ghost
In today’s tech-driven economy, high-performance computing systems are the beating heart of innovation — from life sciences to automotive AI. Yet behind the polished marketing campaigns of some major global suppliers, there lies a darker and more troubling reality.
A small British innovation company recently found itself in an impossible position.
They had entered into what appeared to be a promising deal with the UK subsidiary of a large US-based enterprise technology manufacturer — a household name. The agreement involved financing the acquisition of a specialised high-performance server, sold as new, state-of-the-art, and mission-ready.
What they received was a system that, within days of installation, failed to operate as advertised.
Investigations revealed indications that the equipment had been previously used, and internal communications suggested that even the supplier’s own staff were aware of problems.
But here’s the true outrage: the financing contract — designed by the supplier’s own captive finance arm — included clauses that explicitly deny the buyer any recourse, even if the delivered system is completely unfit for purpose. No refunds. No service resolution. No right to reject.
When the small company sought to assert its rights, it was met with silence, delay, and ultimately, the full force of an international legal team. The tech giant, instead of fixing the problem, threatened to wind up the company, weaponising a financial instrument to force payment for a machine that had already failed.
This is not just a commercial dispute — it raises questions of asymmetry, ethics, and structural abuse. Can a supplier knowingly deliver malfunctioning hardware, shield itself through its own financing arm, and then threaten the very survival of the client when the product fails?
There is a word for this in the court of public opinion: fraud by complexity.
The small company is fighting for its survival in the courts, with limited resources, but a deep sense of justice. It represents a growing concern for many in the UK’s innovation ecosystem — that the same firms entrusted with critical infrastructure may be operating under a “too big to answer” philosophy.
At stake is more than one company. At stake is the very fabric of trust between supplier and client, and the question of how far we will allow legal power to insulate commercial giants from responsibility.
If regulators, journalists and the public don’t ask these questions — who will?
This is an excellent service provider…
This is an excellent service provider company, and IBM employees are highly supportive.
No customer support or care
I have a subscription for SPSS. Sometimes I want to pay for an add on for a month or so. It's always a nightmare to stop the payments and cancel the additional package. The paperwork is confusing, the staff unable to help, and the whole company is not user friendly in how it operates.
I wanted to check how much I'd paid as it seemed excessive and in error. I firstly logged a support ticket and was sent to sales. After 30 minutes on the phone to sales I was then asked to ring invoicing. I ring invoicing and no-one answers. They ask me to go to the website - where I started.
Find alternatives as the whole experience of being an IBM customer is AWFUL!
Great Place to Work
I moved out to Boulder CO and immediately was hired by IBM to work on their technical help desk. One of the best experiences of my life. Great company to work at. I wish I had never left.
