Damaged Product Delivered – Return Denied Despite Full Evidence
I ordered a Blackstar ID:CORE 40 V4 digital combo amplifier from Idefix on June 22, 2025. The product was delivered on June 24. As soon as I received the package, I recorded a video while unboxing it without removing the protective seal, and I clearly saw that the product was broken.
I immediately went to the cargo office and had an official damage report issued, stating that the outer box was undamaged, but the inner packaging was insufficient, causing the amplifier to arrive broken.
I returned the product on June 25 with this damage report included. However, on June 30, Idefix rejected my return request, claiming the product was "defective." This is exactly why I returned it in the first place.
In my conversation with customer service, the company acknowledged that the damage happened during shipping and said the return would be accepted if there was a damage report — which I provided.
Despite all this, they refused the return and delayed the process. The return code was sent late, and I was repeatedly ignored. I have full documentation, including the unboxing video, official damage report, invoice, and chat transcripts with customer service.
I’m extremely disappointed by the customer service and return process. I will continue my complaint via the Consumer Arbitration Committee and consumer protection organizations in Turkey.
📎 Be cautious when shopping with Idefix. Even with undeniable proof, they may refuse to take responsibility.
