Very helpfull as tried to change data base of previous company but identified pet were able to sort this for me. Polite customer service from Jacob nothing was a problem. Would recommend them.

This is a scam who preys on vulnerable people
I think it's very sad that you prey on vulnerable people who have lost their pets. I signed up to the alert service when my cat went missing. I was happy to pay for the service for the length of time he was missing. However, when I tried to cancel when I no longer the needed the service, I was quite arrogantly told that because I had used the service that I was now locked into a 12 month contract and was told I should have read the T&C's when I signed up. It would have been nice if this had been made obvious when I signed up because I could have made the very basic posters by myself. I didn't get any more benefit from the service I have now signed up for. There was been no social media advert, no text message alert to people etc about my missing cat (he had since returned home) so all in all, this service is a scam and I am so disappointed in myself that I fell for it.

We completely understand why you wanted to use the service while your cat was missing and then cancel it once he was safely home. We’re also sorry that you felt the terms around the service weren’t clear enough when you signed up. We never want a customer to feel that something has been hidden from them or that they haven’t understood what they were signing up for.
The service is designed to provide support and tools to help reunite lost pets with their families, and the subscription terms are explained during the sign-up process. That said, we take your feedback about how clearly this is communicated seriously, as it’s important that customers understand what they’re signing up for before making a payment.
We’ve also tried to contact you directly by phone so that we could talk through your experience, answer any questions and see if there’s anything we can do to help. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to make contact with you so far.
We’re genuinely pleased to hear that your cat has made it home safely — ultimately, that’s exactly what we want for every missing pet. 🐾

Very helpful, needed the previous owners consent which we could not get but identi pet contacted them and did what was needed following no response the chip was transferred easily and they let us know.

Problems with initial registration. …
When we had our litter of puppies microchipped there was a problem with the initial registration of all 12 puppies which meant we could not register the microchips for two weeks. Even then some of the new puppy owners had trouble changing the microchip into their name.
On top of that the £39 fee for changing the microchip into their name new owners name is outrageous and having to pay an annual fee if you want to make changes is also poor.

We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have the initial registration issue and then for some of the new puppy owners to experience difficulties too. That’s certainly not the experience we want for breeders or new pet keepers.
Our plans and fees are there to support the ongoing management of a pet’s microchip record and the wider pet services we provide, helping lost pets get home. We appreciate, though, that the cost of changing a registration or maintaining a plan may not feel right for everyone.
We’ve also tried to contact you directly so that we could talk through what happened, explain the process and hopefully help resolve any outstanding issues. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to make contact with you so far.
We’re disappointed that your experience has left you feeling that you wouldn’t use us again, but we genuinely appreciate the feedback. It helps us understand where the experience isn’t meeting expectations and where we need to do better.

Disappointing system error
My original card had expired when it came to renewal. I went on to update my card details and decided to go for the next option upwards or my renewal. It was only when I checked my bank the upgrade had gone through but so had the previous one - i.e. I paid twice for the same service. I have had to contact you twice and have still not received my payment back.
