Fab people who helped with putting my dogs microchip in my name. Service went smoothly and in quick, reasonable time. Thank you. :-)

Pet Databases processes are misleading. I had a call with them and it was my understanding they effectively contact the current database and that that then database contacts the registered owners. This is not the case, they just send (unclear how it's sent) a notification to archive info on the other pet database and transfer it to the new owner. The process feels lax and lacks due diligence. They send the message via this unclear medium and if there's no answer (Pet Log had no knowledge of this "notification") they change the chip. A bit worrying were the owners to be looking for their dog.

Holly Thompson made it easy and now all updated and transfer of pet complete thank you Holly.

Registration of our cat Max was very quick and easy. Our contact Holly was very supportive and very helpful.

I was struggling with getting my dogs microchip verified under my name from previous owner. I contacted petdatabase to help me with this... a very lovely lady called Holly Thompson was so helpful to me with sending me links to get the chip done right. And helping me along the way. Couldn't rate her help anymore very grateful for your help Holly. Even received an email from holly when it was all completed too she went above and beyond to help me.

Very easy to transfer pet ownership with a small fee. Holly was very helpful in keeping me informed of progress as checks have to made to insure pet hasn’t been stolen. Would encourage everyone to microchip their animals

Paid to have my dog chipped then went to register on pet database but stopped part way as it was asking for more money. Unfortunately i couldnt register my pet anywhere else as pet database had secured the registration even though i had not completed it. I kept getting emails from them asking for the payment or i could face a fine! I found out other sites did free registration so had to contact pet database seperately to have them remove my details as it couldnt not be completed on the website. My advice would be to be more transparent about the fees before signing up but also allow us to remove the details if we decide not to proceed.

I found Holly to be very nice, which has made the experience in changing my cats details much better after he had to be rehomed due to ill health.

Pet Database is such a comprehensive way or registering your pets' details and give you peace of mind. I use them for all my pets. It's a really personable service with helpful staff there to help you. I highly recommend them.

We paid £20 at the vets to have our kitten microchiped. We weren't advised that there would be anymore charges. But according to their Pet Database website there are further charges. Feeling ripped off. Scammers.
