This is the worst company
This is the worst company, it has been 3 months since I filed a claim and the claim money has not arrived yet. They are making different excuses to not pay the claim.

Pathetic Service and the claim process is way too lengthy. I gave my care for claim, instead of helping me in the claim, they were asking me for the picture of my Car before the accident, even when i provided them, they needed 3-4 old days pictures, who keeps the picture of their car as if they know they're about to met with an accident. They only approved half of the damage, that too repair, and for the plastic part i was asked to pay the amount for color.
One of worst company in the market.. my car has rat bitten the O2 sensor due to this ECU unit part get damaged but insurance company rejected that claim

Stupid company with a bunch of incompetent people. No intention of processing claims. Just sit and harass customers endlessly till they give up. Would never recommend such companies to anyone. Steer clear !

This is a hopeless insurance company. they find reasons to reject the claim. take one month, ask thousand documents and then CLAIM REJECTED. Lame reasons, two times this company rejected CORPORATE INSURANCE CLAIMS.
Do you want people to face die in accidents or break their bones and injure themselves to fatal levels to provide reimburse/cashless claims. The worst corporate insurance company you are!
If there was an option to give zero rating I would have given that. Irresponsible, and don’t even care or know how to process a claim request. They keep rejecting for no reason and will contact you 1000 times when we need to renew the insurance. Please never take Iffco insurance.
I'm totally frustrated regarding IFFCO TOKIO service even I'm a service advisor.
I met a accident near Varanasi 21 May and till date I haven't got any claim work approval.

Last year in October only I bought a isuzu pickup and dealer has the tie up with iffco tokio and given policy of this company at their own discretion,and recently have some claim due to few minor damaged to body part, but to our dismay the surveyor in our area(j&k) in first place is not approachable, doesn't explaining the doubt in deatails to the client, and are not picking up the call at all, and this way the settlement issue has hanged up for more than a three months and the delayed payment released that too afer some depreciation despite having bumper to bumper full insurance. In between I have to make a multiple plead/requests at different forums of company official and they too are not quite responsive which further heighten the frustration.Lathergic response of assessor, delay in claims settlement and unnecessary questions/documents I personally have very bad experience with company.Sp sorry iffco tokko😡
not good service, on claim time they are saying we can not approve full claim as there are multiple damages. even i have new car brought in Feb 2022 , hit by truck on right side , they are saying there should be more damage if truck hit and not ready to settle the full claim.

I had bought Car Insurance in 2016 from Iffco-Tokio. Even after 25% No Claim Bonus the insurance premium went up last year. This year (2018) after a second 25% No Claim Bonus the Insurance Premium went further up !! The car is a 2004 Chevorlet Optra - yes, you read that right - 2004 !! And the WDV (written down value) of this car has gone up 20% ...
Obviously IFFCO-Tokio was gaming because I got nothing in writing from Iffco-Tokio ... only phone calls from a call center in NCR. In 2016 and 2017 an Insurance agent from Bangalore had personally handled my case. This year, even after alerting the individual more than a week back there has been no revert.
In the process, by now my insurance policy has lapsed and i need to look out for a new insurance company who will charge a bomb for car inspection prior to issuance of insurance policy. Of course, this is unacceptable and i am taking Iffco-Tokio to Consumer Court

Am sure for individual (i.e. Non-Corporate) buyers this is a very common occurrence across Insurance companies and i would like to take this up as a common cause ... if you have a similar experience with any insurance company regarding car insurance, please post your own observations on this review
