Poor service

Poor service. Arranged an appointment for a quote. I took the afternoon off work and they didn’t turn up. I messaged them and all they said was I got the date wrong even though it was on the WhatsApp message. Poor service and communication

Poor service and product

From the outset, the staff were friendly and helpful. We agreed an installation date within two weeks and I paid a deposit. However, a week later I was contacted and asked to reschedule, as installation could only take place at least three weeks later. I had no choice but to wait.

I also requested an afternoon appointment, but the installer arrived at 10am while I was not at home. Unfortunately, he was unwilling to return later the same day, which caused yet another week’s delay.

Eventually, the blinds were installed. I paid in full by cash as requested, but when I later asked for an invoice, I was completely ignored, which I found unprofessional.

In terms of quality, there is still a small amount of light leakage around the edges, although it is much better than our previous blinds, so I was willing to overlook that. However, within two weeks, the inexpensive paper blinds started slipping out of the brackets.

Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the repeated delays, lack of communication, and poor after-sales service.

I now believe this company to be scam

I now believe this company to be scam
After having 2 issues with them first been incorrect measurements and been told what I was having no sample book or choice given both time ali
After contacting. And stating my unhappiness there come out and remeaseured deposit paid has requested agreed date 30th May
Contacted over the last two days by phone text email and there refuse to reply
I find them very rude and none customer service I am a first time customer with them and totally unacceptable
Attitude approach from them this isn't over and matters will be taken further I advise people to stay well clear of this company

Don't bother blinds

I booked an appointment 4 weeks ago. Didn't come. I messaged them on Facebook, had an appointment today 11th May. No one came. I've rang this company 3 times. VERY DISAPPOINTED, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE

The guy that came to measure up ( Jaz) was helpful gave us a price there and then paid a deposit.
I wanted an extra blind phoned head office who gave me the telephone number of the area manager. Well he was short and unhelpful didnt turn up on the day they were supposed to fit the blinds...
Rang the manager who attitude was awful don't fit on that day was his reply we will be there Monday asked again about the extra blind. He really couldn't be bothered customer service is awful.
The Monday Jaz came to fit the blinds plus the extra blind bent over backwards to help and was polite and helpful.
Blinds nice prices good quality. The problem is management need to address customer services.

Faux wood blinds

Would highly recommend impress blinds.
We had 9 windows, from measuring and being quoted on Sunday 22nd March, they were fitted Saturday 28th March.
We picked the white wood grain effect.
Only thing I can say is we are really IMPRESSED 😁. Thank you.

I’ve used impress blinds on 3 occasions…

I’ve used impress blinds on 3 occasions now and never had a problem had them fit my father in-laws as well I would highly recommend them on quality and price.I will be using them again when ever I need any blinds also the workers are great and friendly can’t fault.

SCAMMING

Something feels rather alarming or fishy shall I say. Had one of their team members come out to quote us up, a young man called Hass with coloured eyes. On doing so once he gave us a quote he then said he himself could do it cheaper and quicker. Said he would come out and fit them himself despite him being just a measurer for said company but told me not to mention it to them. Anyway, i agreed to save the extra pence and on the fitting day, when I asked for a receipt he gave me one with a different business name on it. A company called ‘aleems beautiful blinds’ or ‘Alahams beautiful blinds’. Which I found very strange.

Then he measured my friends property on a different occasion. He took a bank transfer deposit thing from her but then lead to take another £60 in cash to fit them sooner as she needed them urgently. But he told her not to mention it to the fitters or the company. I think he pocketed the cash for himself. Seems like he is swindling the company and I can’t trust him so I shall not be going back to these guys because something doesn’t quiet add up.

Cowboys!!! Please don't waste your money!!

Measuring, ordering and fitting were all straight forward, was quite ok with our purchase until we noticed that the vertical slats in the front window were different lengths! I sent them a message and was told to send a photo which I did! I was then asked to check that all blinds were sitting in the holders correctly, they were! My husband measured each blind and they were all slightly different in length! I was told they would send some replacements, but guess what, they were lost in the post!!! No proof of posting was ever sent! Then Maz, not sure who he is but maybe the owner said someone would come and look at the blinds and replace.....guess what! The day the person was coming he had to take his son go the hospital and someone would come on the Thursday or Friday!! Never heard anything again! My husband called and asked to speak to the manager to be told someone would ring back, oh yes you guessed it, no one ever called!! Happy to take your money but no follow up care, would never recommend this company to anyone, they are cowboys!!! Please avoid!!

NOT IMPRESSED WITH IMPRESS BLINDS

Sales service was pretty good. However came to install Monday 29/09/2025 the blind for the final window in the living room was too tight, the fitter did try desperately to squeeze it in place until I explained that I paid a lot of money for the blinds and didn't want to struggle if I had to remove the blind sometime in the future, the installer marked the newly painted sides of the window frame but eventually gave in. Had to chase Impress to ascertain when they would return, in good faith I had paid the remaining balance even though I could have deducted the cost of the final blind until it had been fitted, now find I have to wait a further week for the fitter to return which I think is extremely unfair when I had worked really hard to ensure all areas were ready for the installation (not my fault the measurements were wrong). Now left feeling quite exposed in the main living area of my home as no coverings on window, when I tried to get an earlier date, lady on the phone was quite dismissive - guess there is no incentive now Impress have full payment.

Avoid at all costs !!

Avoid at all costs !!! A window "professional"turned up driving a taxi and said it was his side line that should have been thr first red flag, that should have been enough but I put my trust in them. As soon as he walked in my house he asked which windows and didnt want to engage in any conversation, he then put the sample book infront of me and told me to hurry because he was in a rush, 2nd red flag ! When He measured my windows, we told him we were having work done on 1 window but it wouldnt change the measurements as it was nowhere near where the blinds were been fitted. He then gave us a quote and said it would be 1/3 of the cost upfront. It was all fine and he asked me to sign for paying the deposit.
Today they turned up to fir my blinds, the room one isn't long enough, we told the fitter this and he was very arrogant saying it wasn't his problem. We contacted impress blinds who said we should have checked the measurements because we'd signed for them, not once did the guy ask us to check any measurements!! Did we have a tape measure. NO. Are we not paying gor a service Yes !! Then they blamed it on work on the window, the work been done is nowhere near the blind and it doesn't affect its drop. We have rang impress 3 times and just been fobbed off so please avoid avoid avoid because they will rip you off too

professional and efficient

It's not a scam! Their approach for installing vertical blinds is simple yet professional and efficient. They are happy to visit to measure up the windows and let you decide from samples what blinds you would like, then give you a free all-in quote there and then. We accepted the quote since attractive compared to well known vertical blind company. We paid £50 deposit for 3 windows. One week later they came as promised on Saturday, removed old blinds and installed new ones professionally, all within 30min. Quality seems fine but unable to comment on durability since had them installed recently.
