I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with InstaShop. My order arrived with incorrect items, including pretzels instead of whole wheat bread worth EGP 190, and the potatoes were spoiled with red spots.
I contacted customer service through the app and sent more than 40 messages, but no meaningful action was taken and no one from their team called me to resolve the issue.
When I contacted the store directly, they refused to replace the items or issue a refund. The staff were extremely rude and told me, “If you can do something about it, go ahead,” before blocking my number.
What was even more frustrating is that InstaShop did not take ownership of the issue and left the delivery rider to communicate with me instead.
Very poor customer service, no accountability, and an unacceptable overall experience.

Don't use the app. Delivery doesn't come and none of support functions work. You don't get a call back and no one answers calls! Use Careem, 100 times better!

Very poor service. The delivery man is untrained. They don’t deliver the items but instead they mention delivered. Can’t contact the delivery man as he doesn’t have a mobile number. If there is a problem we can’t contact them instantly. I’m highly disappointed. Never order from instashop . I had a terrible experience. I’m trying to contact but no response but instead they have sent an email that they are trying to contact and I am not responding. They also lie. Very unprofessional.
Useless customer service
Useless customer service. Issues happen often, and every time I contact support, nothing gets resolved. Complaints are ignored, callbacks lead nowhere, or worse—they hang up as soon as I say I don’t speak Arabic. No help, no professionalism, no accountability. Completely unacceptable.
I ordered from InstaShop and paid 96
I ordered from InstaShop and paid 96, but they delivered uncut fish and unclean, uncut chicken. Nothing was properly prepared. When I tried calling customer service, my calls didn’t even go through. I called many times and they only responded after a full day. Now instead of solving the issue, they are arguing with me from different numbers, insisting they are not wrong.
I will attach their messages in this review so people can see the proof. I strongly advise others to be careful before ordering from InstaShop. This has been a very bad experience.

Ordering is easy — but if something goes wrong, you’re completely on your own.
I’m extremely disappointed with Instashop’s customer service. I received a damaged order and immediately contacted support to arrange a return. Since then, I’ve sent countless messages (well over 100) and have been waiting for a callback that never came. I have now been waiting almost 8 hours for any response or assistance.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with their service, but this experience has been the worst. There has been zero follow-up, no resolution, and no accountability.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I had to contact the shop owner myself to resolve the issue. He was the one who arranged for a driver to pick up the damaged items — not Instashop. A third party took responsibility while the platform I ordered through did absolutely nothing.
I had to cancel my plans and stay home all day just to try and fix a problem I didn’t cause. Instashop showed no consideration for my time, responsibilities, or the inconvenience this situation caused.
When a company makes it this difficult to return damaged items and offers no real customer support, it shows a serious lack of respect for customers. This experience has been exhausting and extremely disappointing.

Spennies in instashop deducts for any cancelled and removed items from basket and when I raise it to instashop they don’t investigate and voucher it’s not counted when added to your total payment bc they deduct all the amount. I request invistigation for all my spennies order and it was not done and I was not communicated !!! This happened several times and if they provide you with their recite provide them with your deduction bank statement . This is a complaint and I want invistigation and refund for removed items from all spennies orders
