Insulation Express Avis 

I found Insulation Express online and was not sure what to expect. The prices were good and I placed the order, unfortunately, my builder had given me the wrong depth for the insulation sheets and I had to call first thing in the morning before my delivery was due and see if they would change some of my order over. They did this immediately and confirmed by email, not only that, they said they would reimburse the difference. Great service and very helpful

Made order online due to competitive price, received email confirmation and delivery date.
Later received an email stating delivery would be a couple of days later due to stock delays.
The day before delivery I was contacted via phone because there was still one size of insulation boards not available and they offered to send what they had in stock which I thought was fair and I decided to cancel the order for the out of stock items as I needed these boards immediately. Refund was issued on the spot and was in my account 2 data later.
Shout out to Chris at the office for sorting this out and Phil the delivery driver who was excellent.

Ordered some insulated plasterboards and took the day off work to await delivery. Received a text on the morning of the delivery with an ETA. About an hour later I received another text just saying “sorry, your delivery will now be tomorrow”. I took the next day off work, again to await delivery. The order did indeed arrive… with two badly damaged plasterboards! I emailed customer services to advise who, in fairness were very helpful, and said they would send replacements. Over the weekend I decided to place another, larger order, on the basis that the two replacement boards could be shipped together with the new order. I duly received a new delivery date, for which I took the day off work to receive the goods. On the morning of the delivery, unlike the previous order, I didn’t receive a confirmation text so I phoned the depot and they told me there had been an admin error and my delivery was on its way. A couple of hours later, I received another text saying my delivery would now be the following day! I phoned customer services (fuming) and they advised me that, yet again, their vehicle had broken down! I explained that I’d taken the day off work again and that it wasn’t good enough. They managed to arrange the delivery for later on that day and, again in fairness to customer services, they did their best to be helpful but this sort of thing shouldn’t happen in the first place… certainly not twice! Later that day the driver delivered my goods but just dumped them in the driveway, refusing to help me lift them into my garage as, in his own words, he was on a strict time schedule!!! He also advised me to buy directly from SGS in the future as Insulation Express are simply an office based ‘middle man’ and e-commerce operation, sourcing products and materials from a range of suppliers depending upon who can offer the best price on any given day. Moral of the story… you may pay slightly more but by going to one of the more reputable building supply companies, at least you will be dealing with the actual stockist. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t deal with Insulation Express again. Just a good job I wasn’t a commercial builder waiting on-site for my suppliers to turn up!

Placed an order for some insulation, had the order confirmed only to be contacted the day before delivery from Chris on customer services stating they don’t deliver to where we live. Even had the cheek to try and charge £204 for a courier. It clearly states in their FAQ’s that they deliver to mainland Uk and any orders over £300 get delivery free. Our order was over £600 and in west wales. Complete cop out. Used insulation superstore instead and had no problems and worked out cheaper so every cloud

An absolute sham of a company
Placed an order paid for it (£617) and it showed it qualified for free delivery as it was over £450. Just to be contacted after they took our money by email, to request a further £60.00 for delivery as the order is coming from 2 separate places . Honestly, disgusting customer service.
Beware: as I refused to pay extra for the delivery, as on the website it states that is the price you pay , they don’t warn you about any extra charges, they have cancelled my order and now I have to wait days for a refund before I can place another order with another company.
In all honesty it feels like a scam .

Bought some Celotex PL4000 insulation boards. Good price. Driver was a nice guy and very helpful. Tracking provided was v good with a live map showing location of the delivery truck. Overall couldn't be better.

I ordered GA4000 insulation, there was a small issue at my local depot but I was contacted immediately and kept informed. Items arrived as expected & cannot fault service & price. Paul

Easy to use website with clear descriptions and notes warning about some products delayed lead-times.
Very helpful on phone when requesting an ETA for
non-stock item which allowed me to choose an appropriate delivery date.
Our customer then cancelled the job and Insulation Express didn't quibble about refunding me in full within a couple of days.

Excellent on time delivery by a very helpful driver. Great prices and excellent communication. Very much recommended.

Let me order on line and then emailed to say they had no stock of most things. Most companies now have live stock levels but not Insulation Express - thanks for wasting my time!

Researched the product price for an age - Insulation Express quote came in extremely competitive - but I thought this was too good to be true - so limited my initial order as a trial on reliability - they came up trumps - even delivered to the foot of my drive - which is a feat in it-self as I live in a remote area.

easy to order online, delivered time, driver excellent manners put the insulation where I asked, as I could not help him due to a back problem he said no problem and just got on with it.

I got the mess around Big time from Insulation Superstore, Took my money and that company didnt deliver after 4 x weeks of waiting Then when i got angry with them after 4 x weeks they refunded me, the stress that other company caused me!
You however different altogether! Fast replies to my Emails! Delivered to me within 4-5 days! I Mean your company is Night and Day to the others! I hope your business keeps up its already awesome reputation, and im only sorry i didn't use your company first!
But im showing my gratitude now by writing this!
Thank you for emailing back the same day! and sending my order fast! i won't forget to use Insulation express if i ever need insulation again! You saved me so much heartache!
