INTEC College - Leader in Distance Learning Avis 30

Seems to me that Intec is now defunct. I visited the site of their office in Century City. Its abandoned. The student portal was turned off about a month ago. I still had a few exams to go. Never received any exam results. Pity.

Intec college has no respect whatsoever for the end user, I have enrolled with the college years ago and till today I haven't completed my studies. It is not of my doing but unfortunately they just don't care. Can we all come together and at least raise funds and appoint an attorney to fight our case.

I need my transcript, but no one is responding

I want to express my extreme disappointment with the service I've received from Intec. Since last year, I've been trying to get clear information about assignment deadlines and requirements, but all I've encountered is confusion and a lack of support, which has been incredibly frustrating.

I enrolled in the program in May 2024, and when I accessed the student portal, I found multiple assignments and quizzes due in July, August, and September 2024. Some tasks were marked as optional, only for those planning to take exams at the end of 2024.

I reached out to Intec and spoke with Cameron Europa, who assured me that a second session would open in November 2024 for those submitting work for mid-2025 exams. Since I started my courses in mid-2024, I thought I would be covered. However, I've received no follow-up communication as promised, leaving me without a clear timeline or guidance.

This lack of clarity has left me feeling lost. The advisers I've consulted seem just as confused, which raises serious concerns about Intec's organization and communication. As a student, it's vital to have a solid understanding of deadlines to manage my studies effectively.

I've tried reaching out via phone multiple times, but these attempts often lead to hold times exceeding two hours, disconnections, or being transferred to the wrong department, like Sales, which hasn’t helped at all. This only adds to my frustration, as it feels like my concerns are being ignored.

Given all this, I'm seriously reconsidering my enrollment in this course. The inadequate communication and support fall far short of what I expected when I signed up. Therefore, I believe a full refund is justified due to the lack of assistance and the significant inconvenience I've faced.

Try to contact intec but no reply.lots of bad reviews.Did my course in 2010. It was excellent at that time. Lots my transcript so trying to request it again.but no reply from intec..very bad service.what has changed.so disappointed intec team.

Intec is very efficient when they want you to pay and register, but once you have registered they do not care about you. No contact from them, no guide, no student support, non whatsoever. Do not register with them. They forget we work very hard to pay our fees but they will not contact you probably wail for you course duration to end then tell you that you need to pay again to finish your course. Horrible experience. I don't know when exams are, my assignments are submitted and not graded, I don't know if I need to finish everything before I write, or if I can write in bits as I complete a subject. I'm just left stranded. Their student support contact number just makes you hold until your airtime finishes. You will number 1 in the queue for an entire 30 minutes.
I regret my choice of registering with them and would actually like a refund so that I can register with an institution that care for their students . when you done to write an exam you straggling to get the results and the progress report.

They do not deserve a single star. Enrollment was hassle free, very willing to take your money, but from there on, everything was basically useless.

Needed assistance with my back office, spoke to various people within the company for help, emailed a bunch of people however that haven't resolved the problem.

After giving up, I requested a refund a few times, then they sent me an enrolment form instead of the so called form for a refund, now I wonder if it is just spitefulness or incompetence.

I dd my course 2009 fully paid no results till today they took me from pillar to put don't run away Scammers

My daughter completed her ECD Level 4 with INTEC College this year in February 2023 her course has since expired. She has not received her results. All her fees were paid in advance because they push you to pay everything first and then they do not contact you but take all your money and disappear. I have phoned and e-mailed them on numerous occasions but each time I get a "we will get back to you within 2 weeks." They never get back to you or help you. I have phoned them today again and have been on the phone for an hour being caller no.3. they do not answer. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL FOR ANY STUDIES.

This has been such a stressful and a complete waste of my time ... After numerous emails i still havent received any feedback from the exam department . they have Zero communication. I have been patient but i cant anymore i need assistance.

Wow Thanks for the reviews guys, luckily i decided to read more about intec before jumping into something fast. Let me do more research

There is no service at all i recently registered with Intec college this June ,submitted assignments on time but still the results are still outstanding.when you email they send you pillar to post and never respond until everyone just goes quiet.

I want to de-register and find something better else where

There portal always have issues,keep changing passwords every now and then. I WISH I HAD CHECKED THE REVIEWS BEFORE ENROLLING WILL INTEC COLLEGE......

I canceled my account with Intec last year, 2022, and now after a year, they want to give me over to lawyers for not paying my account. No one from Intec came back to me at this time after sending multiple emails to the student adviser, sales manager, and customer care. The reason I canceled is because they could not help me with the exam location close to where I stay. This place is a rip-off, they just want money but when you need help from them they just don’t get back to you.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I enrolled in 2019 and sent numerous complaints and requests in 2020 and 2021. My course was supposed to be 1 year but I had to ask for an extension because I didn't have the correct data file to complete ONE subject and was requesting it for almost 2 years! I phoned, I emailed and no one seems to know what they are doing at Intec. I WANT A FULL REFUND FOR YEARS AND TIME WASTED WITH THIS COLLEGE!!! 'Go Far, Go Places, Make your mark" - Words that are complete nonsense!!! The last communication I received from the college was last year!!

Worst college (Previous student). No body gets back to you. I have sent emails and messages since Wednesday and I am still waiting. I have had enough. Telephone lines are not working

I signed up with intec college in the month of April 2022 and firstly I was given false information by the person that signed me up and after I signed up it was to late and I couldn't do anything.
So I tried to adjust and asked for help with many things since day one after payment and registration and never got any customer satisfaction.
I tried to deal with with it on my own using Google and my own discretion.
Until a problem arose that needed an I.T of intec to sort out on my portal as I was unable to load assignments and I had a deadline I've begged, pleaded and threatened but no one responded I was pushed from one person to another until everyone just stopped responding to my emails or calls won't being answered.
I haven't missed a payment I'm currently working and studying and paying for this on my own to better my future but I feel I'm being robbed because I'm not getting anything from intec.
I'm not getting the services I'm paying for.
Eventually after being frustrated I asked for them to cancel everything cause it's a waste of time and money.
And now they won't get back to me.

I am writing this email with utter disappointment and so much sorrow. When i registered with Intec college i was so excited and looking forward to enhancing my career through the qualifications i would be getting with your institution. To this day every experience i have had has been a nightmare. From your irrate call centre agents who service us as if they doing us a favor. Mind you the very same fees we pay are the fees that supplement their salaries. If you could look at the call logins under my profile since i started with the institute,every interaction has have been horrible. I even stopped paying my fees thinking maybe that is when i can get your attention but that proved in vain. Instead i am getting calls from your collections department asking for payment. I will not pay any amount . I would rather enroll with another institution. I have spoken to even your collections department to get me assistance in terms of a contact to cancel my studies i am told to call the useless intec contact center. I have sent my cancellation form since April and never not even once did i recieve any acknowledgement and or a mere call atleast. Today i called and spoke to Jaqueline, the attitude she gave me left me in awe. I was simply following up on my cancellation and the response i got was "the is only one person who does cancellations and he is currently on a project however i will note your student number and he will respond ". I asked her what happens should he not respond ? She said" send an email to our complaints department". I am in the service industry and in all honesty ,the service is pathetic. This shows the caliber of people you have employed. I have made peace that i will never get any knowledgement of my cancellation and or any refund that could have been due. I will be sending the very same email to your CEO Preshan . And should i not get a response from him. I will be taking it to every social media platform and news channel. I wont stop until i am heard.

There service is excellent up to the point where you make a payment. After that they get slow and less friendly. They never uploaded my study materiel, I ended up buy study materiel from another institute to study. Best part is, come exam time. They could tell me when and what I am writing, but could not tell where I was writing. They failed to book a venue for me. They refuse to give a refund or provide me with a letter to say it is not my fault for missing the exams. Keep in mind this will be on my record thanks to them.

Please look at the post on Facebook and how they handle it. This should give you a example of there services. And once again I say, you as the student is the only one taking a risk, when enrolling to a institution. Choose wisely.
