★☆☆☆☆ — Serious Fulfillment Failure and Poor Customer Service

We placed an order on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, with an expected delivery early the following week. The order was not shipped for two full days, and we received no tracking information or proactive communication about the delay.

When I contacted customer service to understand the delay, representative Justin was dismissive and showed zero concern. When I asked why the order hadn't shipped on time, his exact response was: "It shipped out, what more do you want." No apology was offered, no explanation was given, and no effort was made to expedite or resolve the situation.

The shipping delay will cause our project to miss its deadline, resulting in a contract default — a significant financial consequence for our business. Despite informing the rep of this, he remained indifferent. No refund, discount, or consolation of any kind was offered.

We have been customers of this company for 20 years. That history meant nothing to the representative or, apparently, to the company.

I would strongly caution any business that relies on timely delivery for project deadlines to look elsewhere. This company has demonstrated they do not value long-term customers or take accountability for fulfillment failures.

I apologize for the inconvenience regarding the delay with your order.

I reviewed Order #95263 and wanted to provide an update. Your order was placed on May 6 after 1:00 PM and shipped on May 8. The current expected delivery date is May 15.

It appears there was a slight delay with the UPS pickup process. The shipping method selected at checkout was our Standard Free Shipping option, which typically delivers within 5–7 business days.

I also see that a request was made to upgrade the shipment to 2-Day Air; however, the request could not be completed because the package had already entered transit at the time of the change request.

We sincerely apologize for the frustration this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

It took multiple phone calls and emails to have my order completed. I placed the order on 4/13/26. I kept checking the order status and all I ever saw was "processing". I finally contacted them on 4/21/26 and the person I spoke to seemed baffled as to why the order had not been shipped. She said she'd get back to me that day but didn't. I contacted her again the next day and finally the order was shipped. I think that somehow whoever was in charge of processing the order dropped the ball.

BUYER BEWARE !!
I purchased a $1550.00 inverter for a customer's motorhome. When I returned for the install, the inverter was different than the original. I had matched the model numbers and ordered accordingly, but 2 circuits were missing from the new inverter. So, I called and explained the wiring difference and was told I needed to purchase a 3kw model vs. the 2kw that was original. I explained that I did read the entire description and nowhere did it reference any wiring circuit specifics. I was told that information is from the manufacturer not Inverter Supply. I ordered the 3kw for $1964.00 immediately. The new inverter was not packed correctly, as per Inverter Supply's description. Just shipped in 1 box without packing materials surrounding it, no 2nd box. and it was damaged but worked fine. I packed the original new inverter in 2 boxes, completely surrounding with packing material. I called for return instructions I had not received yet and when printing them noticed a 20% restocking fee. THAT IS INSANE ! $310 plus I have to pay shipping and insurance. As a service business, I would never have spent another $2000.00 with a company that penalizes customers for spending more $$ with them.
SO I AM OUT $1655.85 AT THIS TIME.
BEWARE, IF YOU ORDER ANYTHING YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REASONABLE REFUND !!

Please note that the product you received does not include those specific circuit boards, as they are not part of the package according to the manufacturer's specifications. All product details we provide come directly from the manufacturer.

Regarding returns, please be aware that a restocking fee is applied to returned items—particularly electronic components - as per our return policy. If you’re ever unsure about what’s included in a product or need help making a selection, our technicians are available and happy to assist.

As for the packaging concerns, we do use a double-boxing system and follow a two-tier quality check before shipments are sent out. That said, I will personally look into this issue to ensure everything meets our standards. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Bait and Switch. Unprofessional!! No integrity!

I purchased a pallet of aptos 550w panels of their website for approximately $6400 and the sale was approved on my credit card. The next day their sales rep calls me and demanded that I pay an additional $700 because they were not able to make a profit. I told him that I had already made the purchase and that was ridiculous. He promptly told me he was canceling my order and hung up on me. Now my order shows cancelled out of stock, which is a lie. So they have no integrity and are unprofessional enough to post items for sale on their website and then try to increase the price AFTER the sale! Bait and Switch tactics and I have proof.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Only 2 week return window AND it has a 35% restocking fee. They leave you high and dry with your expensive product. Literally purchase from anywhere bc this company is trash.

Product poorly packed

Purchased a new 10kva inverter from Inverter Supply. Surprised it shipped in only in a cardboard box. We have purchased inverters from them before and always shipped in crates. When opened, the ears were damaged. This is 108 lbs. There is no way a cardboard box will protect it. To top it off, it was missing the mounting brackets. Calling customer service gave me excuses. First, she said it was shipped directly from Victron and was not their responsibility. Then, she finally admitted that the shipment originated from their warehouse since I had the shipper and tracking #. Inverter Supply's technical support is great, but the shipping department is poor. It looks like they took a returned unit and reshipped it without packaging. The root cause is that the product was not shipped in its original packaging and looks like a return.

Not all items go via crate. Some boxes do go out in cardboard pending on the dimensions of the product.
Please contact customer support so we can expedite the process for you.

Sometimes when then carriers take the packages they do get bounced around.

I will just state facts and you can make your decision.
I ordered 21 solar panels and the sales person talked me into ordering 23 just in case something happened in shipping. I was informed if one or 2 got damaged they would refund the cost of the damaged panels but I would have enough to complete the installation.
When they arrived there was no visible damage to the shipment.
When we opened the pallet to to install we found the bottom 2 panels had been broken. We didn't know it until we removed the top 21 panels.
I sent a email requesting a refund for the broken panels and pictures showing the broken panels and how the pallet they made some slats were nailed with 4 nails each and some with only 2 or 3 nails and these had popped up under the pallet and broken the panels.
I was informed to send them the shipping receipt market damaged but as when it arrived there was no visible damage I didn't have one.
The damage was under the pallet and not visible until you fully unstacked the whole pallet.
I was then informed that I was supposed to unstack the whole pallet with the truck driver sitting there for damaged to be covered.
The panels are 4 foot by 8 foot and 70 lbs each 1600 lbs of panels. 1 person can't physically move them with out breaking them.
Then I was told I should have planned ahead to have help . But truck came 3 days early.
The bill of lading did not state these were solar panels, the shipping pallet and cardboard covering said nothing about solar panels or fragile or glass. The pallet came apart from the underside I am guessing either when shipper loaded them or trucking company moved them.
Maybe just a coincidence but have me order and pay for 2 extra and not 1 or 3 but just 2 are broken. I think I was intentionally beaten out of 900.00
Be careful with these people
In reply to inv supply. No freight company will allow you to open a shipment prior to signing for it.
Including the company that delivered this shipment, I called and asked this morning.
Per shipping company, customer may inspect shipment for visible damage and note or refuse shipment. If damage is found after opening customer must contact shipper.
The record for my pro number for my shipment there is no identification of special instructions, special handling, etc.
Again from their reply " we new we have terms you can not comply with so you accept all responsibility for our incompetence in being able to package and ship damage free."
Per sales person " I have had hundreds of claims for damaged shipments "
I think their reply says it all.
Read their policy then check with freight companies.
Your on your own!! Be very very careful.

I do apologize for the inconvenience. We ship hundreds of Solar Panels on a weekly basis.
They are very fragile and at times do break during transit. For that reason, we email specific instructions to follow when freight is being accepted.
The reason we are doing this is because the freight company will not except any damage claims unless it is noted upon delivery. There are no exceptions. This goes for any company shipping freight.

My manager ordered the wrong batteries…

My manager ordered the wrong batteries on accident $2,000 dollars worth and we had to return and order the right batteries the second time but then you charged us a 20% restock fee my manager was not happy with that plus we have to pay for the shipping label to send it back to you $150 dollars besides all that it was good but my manager said no more going through you guys small business like us and all that money to just get the right batteries to us never again so sorry to say we will not be doing business with you anymore

I was told by the lady that took my order over the phone that, it was after hours and the order would ship on Monday and I would have it on Tuesday, this is why I had the installers scheduled for Tuesday. I understands things happen but there was no communication and I had to "figure it out". I also understand how a business runs and nothing is free, but some of the shipping back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, when I spoke to the guy on Monday he made me feel nothing could be done and didn't call back with a explanation or anything I was just frustrated with the whole transaction at that point.
Got a few email responses then crickets.......
invertersupply.com tried to help this customer via the Shopper Approved Customer Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond to the assistance provided.

Excellent Service

They had inverters available I could find nowhere else. Sales agent Cristina was extremely helpful and responsive. Product was delivered 3 days early, definitely recommend.
