Voor mij was het weeskind sponsorschap geen fijne ervaring.

Het voelde meer alsof ik met een geautomatiseerde bericht ging berichten ipv weeskind Leen.

Ik heb verder ook echter helemaal geen updates gehad omtrent het bedrag dat afgeschreven wordt. Totdat ik er zelf om vroeg. Maar daar kreeg ik oppervlakkig antwoord op. Geen facturen of bonnen Geen updates vanuit Leen.

Ik heb twee keer gevraagd om te skypen met Leen en heb helemaal geen antwoord hierop gekregen. Voel me belazerd. Dit vind echt niet kunnen voor een stichting in de naam van de Islam.

Verder was ik erg teleurstellend om te zien dat Leen een rolstoel nodig had. Terwijl ik er in de voorgaande communicatie al een foto van Leen met een rolstoel te zien was. Dit wekt wantrouwen op.

Volgens mij was het de bedoeling dat er ge-update zou worden, mbt sponsorschap. Ik miste helaas transparantie vanuit Islamic Reliëf. Vaak werd mijn vraag ook niet beantwoord. Dit is een reden waarom het voor mij niet meer prettig voelde om te sponsoren.

Seit Jahren spende ich hier, aber jedes Jahr sind Unannehmlichkeiten aufgetreten.
Wie:
•Keine Spendenbescheinigungen oder teilweise
•Keine Rückmeldungen auf meine Anfragen
•Versprechen wie auf der Homepage nicht eingehalten
•Falsche Auskünfte
Und und und…..

Hatte jahrelang viel Geduld mit Islamic Relief, aber diesmal ist das Fass voll.
Nie wieder ‼️‼️

komischerweise meldet sich Is.Re. hierüber auf einmal.!?!?!
Wie kommen Sie auf sowas, dass ich an das Büro gespendet haben soll?
Habe JEDES JAHR die selben Probleme mit Is.Re. gehabt.
In meinem Bekanntenkreis haben alle Spender, die Is.Re. zum Spenden genutzt haben, bereits entschieden nicht über Is.Re. zu spenden.
Des Weiteren hatte ich am 08.03.25 alle Kopien per email an Is.Re. zukommen lassen.
Im Jahr 2024 haben wir über IsRe.

Einfach unprofessionell, das IslamicRe…, wie jedes Jahr meine Spendenbescheinigung nicht finden kann,
sowas ist zurückzuführen auf unprofessionelle Mitarbeiter oder auch schlechte Finanzhaltung.

Habe an Is.Re Köln überwiesen, wie jedes Jahr.
Des Weiteren habe ich bei der Bewertung Is.Re. Köln gewählt und nicht Ireland.
Wie traurig, dass man einer Wohltätigkeitsorganisation wie Is.Re. nicht vertrauen kann.
Bisher hat mein Bekanntenkreis und ich nur bei Is.Re. solche oder weitere Probleme gehabt.

Habe mehrmals Is.Re. Köln angeschrieben, leider keine Rückmeldung (wie jedes Jahr).
Kommt eine Rückmeldung dass man sich melden wird, aber leere Versprechungen.
Ich möchte nicht erfahren, was eigentlich mit den gespendeten Geldern passiert.
Habe ab jetzt NULL VERTRAUEN ‼️‼️

Spendennachweise habe ich mehrmals vorgezeigt (per Mail) aber bis dato immer noch keine Spendenbescheinigung erhalten.

These people promote bidah (innovation) just to collect more money and drive flashy cars while our families suffer from Israeli and America bombing. These people should be in prison. Scammers.

They used to be great and easy to use until we needed to help Palestine. When I used to try donate to Palestine with them the website wouldn’t load properly or something wouldn’t work leaving me to not be able to donate. I stopped using them for a while but now decided to go back and I’m finding out you have to do 10 euro minimum donation???? Before you could do as little as one every day or whenever you wanted 10 euro minimum can now be discouraging for the younger teens in school who may just be starting to work and make money like I was when I started donating and I would do 5 euro every month I can’t imagine how many people are not donating as frequently anymore because of this 10 euro minimum spend everything feels like a cash grab now

Willing to take people money but unwilling to support water projects

If I could give 0 star I would for these people worst ever experience. Gave baqra for 5 members of my family paying a total of £250. As I paid for someone else I was waiting for a receipt confirmation which Islamic relief could not provide me. I called 10 times and each time they kept making a excuse. I was only asking for a receipt email confirmation and they were unable to do this. I feel they are taking money and putting into their own pockets that’s y no receipt confirmation could be provided to me and each time I called they kept saying They will do this but hadn’t. Guys please use another charity don’t trust them anymore, I have never had a problem with any other charities

I had a very bad experience with The Islamic relief Ireland. the lack of response was shocking. the follow-up was even worse. I participated in an ongoing program where I was supposed to receive input on a quarterly basis or every 6 months for my donation. I only received information twice, of which the first one was completely wrong and I had to escalate. the second one came literally 90 sec after the first one which confirms that they are just sending random information. nothing has been received since. no emails and no updates. what I did was purely for god and to receive his reward (Inchae alah), however, this experience has really put me off and definitely won't be doing it again and won't be recommending The Islamic relief to anyone I know of.

As far as I can tell, it's a bona-fide charity registered in Dublin, it's well-known as an Islamic charity and backed up by mosques, etc. I only wish I could give more!
I would be wary of some "charity" appeals on social media, often they seem to be the same appeal coming from a different source, this makes a dent in their credibility in my view..
