views as a ex independent bmw mechanic
as a ex independent bmw mechanic i have alway bought new std plates plates when i get a new car as they upgrade the look of car vs the older pealing faded plates (i worked this out fitting plates for car sales. usually still having trade accounts i just tend to go the autofactors. havever this time i decide to treat myself to some more premium plate. so i ordered the 6 digit with a 1 363w 101w in 3d gel. well what a treat did i get the plates are high quality and they sure do look the business with there super small just legal dimention. any one looking for a short plate i would highly recommend them. also if you drive a japanese car/van like my kubistar van the jdm plates logo at the bottom just give it that final touch that only people than know notice

Hi John,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're truly sorry about the mix-up with your order. The remake was dispatched shortly after you had made contact with us and sent on a 48hr service with Royal Mail, so we apologise for their delay in getting the number plate to you.
We’re glad to hear, however, that your motorcycle number plate turned out spot on in the end. If you ever need any further help with replacement number plates, we’ll make sure it’s smooth sailing next time.
Many Thanks, The JDM Plates Team.

Website is too busy and not easy enough to navigate. Needs a rethink.
Not immediately clear that i needed to send supporting docs, only got an email the day after i paid to say theu wont send plate until i send docs. It could be so much easier than this.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We completely understand your comments regarding the website. We offer a particularly extensive range of number plates, with a significant choice of sizes, styles, shapes and finishes for cars, motorcycles, imports and other vehicles. While we want customers to have as much choice as possible, we appreciate that this can also make the website feel quite busy, so your feedback regarding navigation is genuinely useful and something we will take into consideration as we continue improving the site.
Regarding the supporting documents, as a DVLA-registered number plate supplier we are legally required to verify the customer's identity and entitlement to the registration before we can manufacture and dispatch road-legal number plates. Unfortunately, this is not a requirement that we are able to bypass.
That said, we agree that the requirement to provide these documents should be made as clear as possible throughout the ordering process, rather than relying on the follow-up email, and we will review how prominently this information is displayed.
Thank you again for your order and for the constructive feedback.
Many Thanks,
The JDM Plates Team.
