First opened in 1966, the shops have served the climbers and walkers visiting North Wales over the years and have equipped many big expeditions to the greater ranges. Today, the two Joe Brown Shops partner with The Climbers Shop in the Lake District to continue the tradition of offering great knowledge and service in a relaxed environment. Outstanding
I was looking for a Rab Jacket and noticed it was almost half the price than other leading Outdoor stockist.
I thought it was too good to be true. (Rab Microlight Alpine Jacket - Small)
Listed at £195 everywhere else and £117 via these guys – Jan 2020
I called them and spoke to a very helpful chap who confirmed the
item was in stock, in my size at the price shown.
I ordered the jacket and it arrived a couple of days later via Royal Mail.
The item was as described in the correct colour, size
and it was packaged well
A great service that i cannot fault id order from these guys again

The difference between excellence and merely good.
You can tell the difference between a good retailer and an excellent one when things go wrong. We're all human, we all make mistakes. When Joe Brown made a mistake when packing my order, they didn't wait for me to complain - they spotted the error themselves when their stock control flagged up an inconsistency and they were in touch with me immediately to arrange to get things sorted out, even before the equipment had been delivered!. First class service. i only wish that I could offer such proactive service on my own business...
