I’ve been a Premier customer for over a decade, but lately, it’s impossible to get a human on the line. They talk about AI deployment in their earnings reports like it’s a good thing, but for the customer, it just means being stuck in an endless loop with a chatbot that doesn’t understand basic requests. It’s clear they are prioritizing their tech budget over the people who actually use the bank. Record profits, but zero customer service.

I tried to send a wire transfer today and spent ALL DAY on the phone speaking with seven different agents who assured me that the transfer would go through.
First, they had the wrong account, then the wrong reference number (from a completed transfer), then I got an email saying they cancelled my transfer by my account still says it’s being “processed “ and it’s “too late” to cancel it. Ok that’s fabulous.
Sent a message as directed to the Wire Transfer department and said they cannot get to my request and it may take them “two weeks or more” to get back to me.
Wow! Just wow!

I have a Nutmeg ISA investment account
I have a Nutmeg ISA investment account, now the account has been blocked so I have no access to the money. I rang them and wanted the account shut down and money transferred on 10/3. Nothing had been actioned. I rang them back and again no money returned, a month had passed no money returned. I was initially told money would be returned within 7 days. 4 phone calls later the money is still not returned and now the company says my money won’t be returned until I do the verification online. But mu online account has been blocked. Avoid this company at all cost!

Useless instructions on the app
Useless instructions on the app. I think I've worked out you need to be on a computer and use your phone to verify. But I can't see the instructions to do that. I wanted to setup my account from the app. Why make it so confusing and difficult, other institutions have 2 stage verification that is easy and safe. Then I went to faqs and that referred to text messages when I didn't get a text message. Horrendous system

You have to devote a lot of time on the phone, and on paperwork, to receive your money.
The company will stall as long as possible before closing an estate account. I lost count of the number of certified death certificates and Power of Attorney forms I had to send in. They take weeks before sending a reply.

Shocking customer service
Had an ISA with Nutmeg. Since being taken over by JP Morgan the customer service has been absolutely shocking. I raised an issue in December and have had no resolution despite contacting them more than 10 times in the past 6 weeks. It’s truly terrible and I am making steps to move my account now.

Opened ISA via chase app but dealt directly with Stewart at JPMorgan to answer some questions. He was extremely polite, efficient and helpful in explaining options really well. I will happily invest more with them in future.
A Company That Neglects Staff Welfare and Respect
J.P. Morgan are bullies with an excessive workload which is ignored as a known hazard. They ignore medical advice and don't make reasonable adjustments. They are discriminative towards staff with a mental disability. Management behave in a way that destroys trust and confidence. Bullying is ripe, they have created a hostile environment, fail to support staff after illness and set them up to fail. Favouritism is ripe and JP Morgan often breach the Equality Act 2010. They are dominated by a toxic masculinity culture where aggression, bullying and mocking vulnerability is the norm.
