K12 - Wyoming Virtual Academy Avis 

Teachers are wonderful!

Wyoming K-12 Virtual Academy has been the perfect school for my daughter, and the education is above all else! My daughter loves her teacher, the advanced lessons that keep my daughter from getting bored in school, and she is actually more aptly in the mornings to get to class.

The teachers are absolutely amazing! Navigation of the site is very easy. I love that we have so many resources and staff responds quickly anytime I need to reach out for anything! My child has loved learning and has blossomed so much academically since being with WYVA!

I love how all teachers and stuff are engaged with the student’s. You can see their goal is to help your child succeed. They go above and beyond whether your child needs more help or is over exceeding in the grade they are currently in. I want to thank everyone we have worked with and cannot wait to meet all the upcoming teachers. Keep it up! You are all doing amazing.

Great opportunity for my children to enjoy school again and have free time to thrive and have extra curricular activities to enjoy again. Classes seem to be easier for them to be at and ask any questions needed, also less stress on them and that's is the best feeling for me and definitely a plus for them!

Assignments listed but no links included. Too many different programs, great minds, Google classrooms, ect. Too many passwords and issues when logged in through Microsoft vs Google. Lots of slow days because of log in issues. Teacher let kids talk out of turn and interrupt. Mics on when its disruptive. Pointless mandatory classes (math plus another math class like WIN) morning meetings are a joke and hard to sit through.

The high school teachers are amazing, and all of the administrators and counselors are more than happy to reach out and willing to help!

Like the school. Not to much for the lay out it gets confusing and things get messed up but other wise great.

Has been amazing since my child is here and every teacher are really do amazing job and they’re sweet to each children here . They helping so much specially to my child .

What made our experience great at MISSOURI virtual Academy was the amazing teachers and other staff. Any questions that we had they were answered within a timely manner, and we were able to resolve whatever questions that we had at that time. Also, whenever we had computer issues, they were really prompt at resolving those issues very quickly. I feel that my child has learned so much from MISSOURI virtual Academy and she is definitely ready for the world.

The school is perfect. It has incredible teachers, class selection is wonderful, kept my son on track and graduated him in an awesome ceremony. They had prom and all sorts of field trips, other social engagements.

The only thing I would say they can do better is check in with the student more often. The teachers are so focused on staying on schedule that they don’t take the time to see if the kids are struggling. They just say if you need help come to the help class hour. But there isn’t always time to get to one of those if they have classes scheduled at those times. So in class maybe at least once a month they need to verbally check in during class and have a let’s try and get caught up time. In reg school the teachers had the flexibility to do a day like that if they could see kids were struggling with the assignments. But it seems like k12 is focused on staying in course. No time for little days of catchup. Only bigger days at the end of semesters.

My daughter has been with WYVA since kindergarten and I would recommend this school to anyone! The teachers, principals etc work good with our kids. Thank you so much for caring and the support you give 🙏🏼✝️❤️

I love the fact that makes it to where kids with IEP’s get the one on one help that they need without other kids making fun of them

The staff at Wyva is what makes our experience great! We love the teachers and our principal Lisa Williams! Stacie Romine was my son’s teacher this year and she is definitely one of the best teachers we have had yet! Stacie is so patient and kind with the kids. She really allows for them to be themselves and work at their own pace. My son has made such strides in self confidence with his learning this year. We are excited for another great year next year!
