Been ignored and Reviews being deleted

So I saw this brand and I was intrigued and I ordered the sun serum at first.

Started using the serum, but then I was getting some dry skin and it really dried me out so I messaged them on Instagram and they responded and gave me some advice which I followed. I was advised to use it on top of damp skin, which I did for a while. As I was using the serum, I decided to order some more products as they had a promotion on and I was really drawn To the concept of the brand and their ideas. I ordered two more products that I thought would be moisturising. So I went for the richie rich cream and the pot of gold.

So I started using all three products and unfortunately it wasn’t agreeing with my skin and I was feeling so dry and my eczema was getting a bit worse.

So I messaged them again and they advised that I stop using the products altogether and start using one product at a time which I also tried however it caused more eczema around my cheek.

So I took the advice and I stopped The serum and face wash and just started to use the moisturising cream. Unfortunately, just didn’t agree with my skin which I can understand. Not all products are suitable for everyone.

I’ve messaged them almost 2 weeks ago. I’ve not heard any reply on Instagram. Initially, they were very responsive when I was buying. I have been left ignored. I think I’ve messaged them about three times since and no one has got back to me since. Also, I’ve received emails to review the products on the website which I had done twice but both of those comments were deleted which was very odd.

I understand not all products are suitable for everyone however I am very disappointed how I’ve been treated when I have raised concerns. Literally been ignored. I’ve asked for my money back because they do have a money back guarantee If it’s not working on you.

I would like to know why I’m being ignored and why they are not addressing my concerns and why they are not willing to refund my money I feel like I am being ignored on purpose and I can’t believe they have deleted two reviews. I’ve left on their website.

Sunlight Serum Reaction - 30 Day Guarantee Honoured

UPDATE: they got back to me via email, processed my refund and didn’t require me to send it back to them eithe due to the delay and severity of my skin reaction. It was a very polite and apologetic email. Can confirm they ARE NOT a scam and a legit small company genuinely trying their best with customer service. Unfortunately product didn’t work for me in this instance.

I ordered the Sunlight serum which arrived promptly I tried the serum for three days gave me a reaction and a residual burning feeling in my skin even though I have stopped using it over a week ago. I did give it one more try with three drops the same redness and burning occurred. I did contact them earlier this week and have not received a response. Not sure if they do this to avoid the money back guarantee so by the time they get back to you the 30 days end.

Scam company run by liars - do not buy!

I bought two products in good faith, feeling secure in the money back guarantee supposedly offered by this company. Both products (sensitive skin cleansing balm and sunshine serum) reacted with my skin the first time. I left a few days and tried both again on separate days and had the same reactions.

So I contacted the company asking to return both products - which is within the terms of their money back guarantee (less than 25% used, two products max, within 30 days). No response...

Left it a week (giving grace as assumed they are a small company with ltd resource), emailed again. No response.

Found another email address tucked away on the website, tried again. And surprise surprise, no response!

My emails have all been polite (my first even asked for advice about the ingredients used), and have all been sent in time etc.

Eventually, running out of ideas, I commented on an Instagram post this morning. Frustrated I tried to warn other people not to rely on the money back guarantee. I tried to check back in the afternoon and see I've been blocked by the company on Instagram!!!! I check from my husband's instagram account and my two comments have been deleted.

Karmic Skin is made up of dishonest liars, selling par quality products, who have no understanding of customer service or marketing!

I have to ask the people running this company - was refunding £30 odd pounds of product (within the terms of your own promise) really worse than creating a truly disgruntled customer who will warn every ever woman I know to steer clear of your appalling company? I would have happily put it down to the products not suiting my skin and not thinking anything more of it, but you've exposed yourselves as liars and scammers with this behaviour.

I would give zero star if I could

I would give zero star if I could. Bought a serum and a cream.had an allergic reaction. My skin started to peel off. I emailed them twice to arrange a return and get refund but no response.

Great products and service

I ordered the whole kit and initially my skin didn’t react well as I was not used to oil based products my skin became dry and splotchy. However after researching and realising there are tips on the website (such as putting serums over damp skin) and heating the creams up with your fingers first I have found the magic! My skin feels great and after using for a couple of weeks I have had some lovely compliments.
Also when I initially wasn’t sure about the moisturisers I emailed and received a prompt response and full refund, laila was very helpful and quick to respond.
I would highly recommend but would suggest doing your research on how to get the most out of the products.

Fraudulent company

Please avoid this fraudulent company. My item didn’t arrive for weeks after this order was placed. I chased and chased but never heard back from them at all. Not even an acknowledgment or an apology. The item didn’t work at all and when I emailed again to ask about a refund once again I haven’t heard back. Please avoid this company. They take your money and we don’t even know what sort of an oil they are sending out and what we are putting in our skin.

Fantastic products

Was given both the sunlight and moonlight serums as a present. After 3 months I felt so much better, and now I'm buying them myself. Really fantastic products. Others have noticed the difference in my skin and complemented me. I am really really pleased with the appearance of my skin.

My skin reacted badly to the serums, and I have been trying to contact Karmic to arrange a return and refund, unfortunately for me, Karmic are not responding to my messages, I have tried every way to contact them. Very bad service when a refund is required.

Very disappointed

I’m having similar issues regarding requesting a return. The creams are oil based and have really not suited my skin.
Parts of my face have come out a bit blotchy.
Prior to purchasing I had a lot of dialogue with them via email to ensure I was purchasing the right products. They replied instantly. I have sent several emails and no response. I wish I took note of the other reviewers who had a similar experience. However the strength of a good business is repeat custom and customer loyalty. They will not get that with me and others who have had similar experiences.

Don’t bother

Have tried contacting karmic skin care several times for a refund. No response. I have emailed and messaged on ig. Horrific customer service. Avoid this company. Like others before me, they don’t reply to anything.

Poor customer service

The products are oil based so had a reaction. I emailed the company for a refund within the 30 days and have had no response. They have sent me emails about promotions and offers but not responded to my email. Customer service is poor and seems they only care about sales.

I am not sure how far the reviews are with 4/5 stars and nice reviews but on my skin, nothing worked.

Please do not buy these products and waste your money. They didn't do what they claimed they does on the skin.

I brought sunlight, moonlight serums including the sleepytime gelly, pot of gold,Richie Rich Rich, No Excuse, everyday, and used them for 2 months before writing this review.

Ordered a bottle of oil which was…

Ordered a bottle of oil which was dispatched promptly however, on arrival the bottle was of short measure. I emailed three times with photographic evidence also, messaged four times on Facebook all ignored which is very ignorant indeed. Finally, I sent another email warning Karmic that I would report the matter to PayPal. again ignored. On 7th January near one month later I raised a dispute against Karmic with PayPal. Partial refund offered...no apology. AVOID KARMIC SKINCARE.

Refund Issued

I recently placed an order that didn't arrive or even show as shipped. I was quite annoyed, but after a few attempts, I did hear back from customer service. There had been a few issues with the carrier and back order problems. I was offered a full refund and the money was back in my account within a day or two. I am still very disappointed that I won't get to try the products just yet, but I am happy with the refund and will try and order again at another point.
To people concerned this may be a scam, it's not, I just think the company is overloaded with orders right now.

Very expensive mistake

Very expensive mistake, I brought the large bundle. At first I liked the products so put all the packaging in the bin, a few days later my eyes became very itchy after using the cleanser so I stopped using that and continued with the moisturizer and oil morning and night, after two weeks of use I developed bad eczema all over my face, I've never had eczema before, it was so bad I had to get medication from my gp. I reached out to customer service several times and have not had any reply. £160 worth of skincare now in the bin.

The products are awful with terrible…

The products are awful with terrible smell and left my skin itchy and sore for days / have tried to contact them at least 8 times but no response / this company is appalling and their packaging is so cheap and nasty, plastic container. DO NOT BUY. I have gone through my credit company to get my money back.

There are better businesses to invest your money in

I am writing this review here incase my review from their website/other sm is removed. I wish I had read Angelica's review below before I wasted my money

I bought a kit and the products stained my skin. On contacting the company I was told I cannot return the products (even the unopened/unused ones) because I bought a kit, I was told as a first time customer I should have bought 1 or 2 products to test it on my skin.

at checkout, you are lured into buying more products as the more u buy, the more discount u get. so the logical person will look at what is cheaper, buying the products separately or in a kit. this is the trap I fell into. after reading all the positive reviews I went all in. so I am now £129 out of pocket. customer services claimed my initial email had gone to their junk and they have now stopped responding to my emails.

As mentioned previously in our email to you, our return policy excludes bundles/kits because we’ve had to manage instances where these were abused. We faced multiple instances where customers ordered full kits, tried all the products, and returned them simply because they didn’t like them. This forced us to implement a stricter policy on bundles, as we cannot resell opened products, and it’s not financially sustainable for us to accept returns on six items.

While we do offer a satisfaction guarantee, which is quite rare for a skincare brand, it’s designed to encourage customers to try 1 or 2 products before committing to more. Our bundles are heavily discounted for those who are familiar with the products and looking for a cost-effective way to purchase them.

We don’t intend to “trap” customers, and we believe our bundles provide great value for those who are already familiar with our products. While we understand this situation is frustrating, we have to be firm in our policy and fairly apply it to all. Hence we are unable to process a return in your case.

We did mention that your original email was missed in our spam folder, but we have been responding and clarified our position. We always aim to be transparent, and we’re sorry that we haven’t been able to meet your expectations.

This company has terrible customer service, I have contacted them on numerous occasions regarding a return and refund which is specified on their website as 30 days, they have not replied or even acknowledged my emails, sent to two specific addresses or Instagram DMs.
Avoid at all costs!
