I bought a Kazam mobile phone; the volume button and then the touchscreen stopped working after a few months of light use. Still within warranty, I sent an email regarding the situation and I had to send it away for repair. I was forced to pay for postage. It has been about six months and, despite numerous emails, they refuse to repair, replace or refund the item. It has reached the point where there is nothing else I can do. The warranty they claim is meaningless.
Don't waste your money on this awful company.
Ho acquitato il cell a luglio 2015 e dopo 1 anno mi si è rotto il dispaly posteriore, il microfono non si sente, il vivavoce gracchia e a volte il display fa le bizze. Ho contattato l'assistenza ma mi hanno risposto che in italia non c'è più. Ho un amico in inghilterra e ha contatattalo l'assistenza senza nessuna risposta. Boh...sarà fallita??
I had a Kazam phone for 13 months before the touch screen configuration stopped working completely. The phone had a 24 month warranty, so I called Kazam and the person on the helpline tried to tell me there was nothing they could do to help and that the phone was only covered under warranty for a year. Luckily I had the warranty booklet to hand and could read the company's own policy to them word for word, which clearly stated it was covered for 24 months. When they finally agreed they would look at it, they asked me to send it to them (they would not pay for the postage) and in the meantime I had to buy another phone. It has now been over 4 weeks, and I have been unable to receive a single update from Kazam as to when it may be fixed. They have taken down their website contact form so we can't speak over email, and when I do manage to reach someone on the phone after being on hold for a long period of time, they have been rude, unhelpful and unable to even tell me where my phone is or what is being done to fix it, let alone give me any indication of when I may have it back. They have refused to send me a brand new phone (even though they still haven't told me if anyone has even looked at my current faulty one), and they have refused to just give me a refund and keep the phone.
Their customer service is appalling and I would advise anyone against buying a Kazam phone in the event that it has a fault and you need them to fix it, as they will do everything they can to not fulfill their contractual duty - you are better off going with a more reputable manufacturer. I have had faulty electrical items from other suppliers before and understand it is inevitable things can go wrong, but their customer service teams have always been good at resolving any issues, and I have never encountered a company this awful before.
