Kingswood Avis 

Another fantastic residential trip to Kingswood. All staff were amazing throughout. The instructors made the week very special for the children. Thank you!!

Everything was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Particularly Alison and Rob, who made all our students feel welcome. Well done to all the Kingswood team, also a mention to the catering team, who were always happy to change or provide for students who were picky eaters. The activities were brilliant and adapted to me the needs of our groups. Also, prior to the residential the Kingswood team did everything to support students enrolling on the program and making parents and carers feel that their young person would be valued on the trip in a safe and motivating environment. Well done to everyone involved in the whole process. We will defiantly we using them again for future trips

A fantastic team building activity day was provided for our Newcastle United Foundation business department at Dukeshouse Wood outdoor activity centre. Getting pushed out of our comfort zones really brought us together as a team and we all left with a sense of achievement, especially those who got to the top of Jacobs Ladder! A brilliant and fun day out for the team! Can’t recommend enough! Thank you!!

I am a staff member of a SEN school who attended a residential trip - the kingswood staff were really positive, understanding , flexible, enthusiastic and helped ensure our young people could access the activities in a way that met their needs best.

Fantastic team building day with knowledgeable, helpful and motivating instructors. We all came away with a sense of achievement and having built closer bonds with our colleagues.

Very impressed by the whole place..Great people..Staff were extremely helpful,knowledgeable and professional..The whole site from what I saw was clean and tidy...Would love to come back again and again..

We visited as my son started an Outdoor Pursuits Trainer Apprenticeship back in May. Eerything was clean, staff were friendly, food was good with a good selection at lunch. My son is really happy there aswell so a great place to visit but also from his point of view seems to be a good place to live and work.

Had an amazing summer ! Really great services and staff , friendly and kind . Definitely organized and big appreciations for the activities , campers had a great blast and even as a leader enjoyed the environment and would love to go through the experience again .

Brilliant day for all the family with something for everyone to enjoy. All staff where extremely helpful and supportive throughout the day. Food was very good. We will definitely be looking to go back.

My son had lots of fun with his group in camp lots variable activities would definitely visit it next year

Cant thank Georgia enough and Jake who was with them as the boys absoultley loved this and have not stopped talking about their time there and are planning the next one. The perfect place for an adventure time and fun.

Nothing is too much for the staff. Ginge even left his hot meal to come and help us. The music on arrival and team waiting outside to greet us was really nice. Done several residentials and have to say this was by far the nicest welcome we've ever had anywhere. Little touches like that stand out. We'll done Guys

My daughter has come back from a day visit to Kingswood. The first thing she said was her eye was hurting because a harness was thrown at her and the metal clip hit her in the eye. When she alerted staff they said 'well he did say catch' and her injury was not checked.
She has not enjoyed the day and said the staff were very rude and impolite.
Working in education we were on the look out for a new residential unit for our own residential trips fair to say we will avoid this one.

I came here with my school recently and it was shocking, especially with the price we had to pay. Most of the rooms smelt of dampness and mould and most of the mattresses had blood on them, my bed sheet also had a huge stench of wee, my friends bedding even had lumps of bird poo on, the next day we noticed pigeons in the bathroom and hallway. My dinner on the first night was stone cold and the cutlery and dishes were not cleaned properly. Overall the sight is not modern and not worth the price.

West Runcton Kingswood. What a trip! Kids and staff loved it. Team were absolutely amazing, especially Marcus and Jacob, they went above and beyond and really geared the kids up. All staff were happy and so friendly. Food was great and so were the staff rooms! Highly recommend! Thanks for a great time, Katie, Harriet and Damon, Duchy Of Lancaster Primary School

blood on the mattress, food was raw and uncooked. Staff was very rude and there was dead bugs EVERYWHERE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

after reading awful reviews i was so scared of spending a weekend here but it was actually so lovely so i’m gonna write this to make you less worried if you’re frantically reading these

the room my friends and i were staying in had this huge gorgeous window and the beds were fine (i brought my own sheets but the ones there weren’t bad either like no stains or anything). the bathrooms were clean and not atrocious and pretty big too.

the food was fine but i wish there were more vegetable options cause we had chips/potatoes with like every day/meal but at least they were good.

the activities were fun on their own but the instructors were great and so nice like some were so hilarious (if you get morgan you’ve won he’s a legend)

also raft building was definitely the highlight and the beach kingswood is next to is STUNNING, the view and walk we went on was gorgeous

i genuinely had a good time and the rooms and accoms were better than i worried about just no plug sockets so bring a portable charger lmao
