Absolute Scammers. Don't Buy !!!

One star, because zero isn't allowed. The no-refund policy exists for a reason: they know the product is broken and they'd rather keep your money than fix it. They're actively advertising a 4.8 TrustPilot score. The real score is 4.2. That's not a rounding error — that's a deliberate deception. Consider yourself warned.

DECEPTIVE SCAM: Illegal "Bait & Switch" and Violation of UK Consumer Rights

Do not let the slick AI marketing fool you—this is a predatory operation designed to trap your money through deception and legal loopholes.

1. The "Bait and Switch": They market the product under the name Clonio, but once they have your credit card info, you are pushed into Klippa. This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic. The presenter claims to have built the software himself; he did not. It is a rebranded white-label product sold through high-pressure, fake "live" webinars.

2. Illegal Refusal of Refunds: They are openly violating the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. They claim that by purchasing, you waive your 14-day right to cancel because you are "accessing digital content." THIS IS A LIE. I never logged in, never accessed the platform, and never "consumed" the product. Under UK law, the right to cancel remains if access has not been granted or utilized, yet they hide their "No Refund" policy in microscopic text buried in general web terms rather than a clear, accessible Return Policy.

3. Fraudulent Urgency: The entire sales process is built on "false scarcity"—timers that reset and "limited spots" that never run out.

I have not opened a single page of their software, yet they refuse to honor basic consumer protections. This isn't just bad customer service; it’s an illegal business model.

TO EVERYONE BURNED: Do not just walk away. File a formal complaint immediately. (See below for where to report).

Where to File Official Complaints
Since they are operating in the UK and US markets and violating consumer rights, use these links to escalate your case:

UK - Citizens Advice / Trading Standards: You can report them to Citizens Advice, who will pass the information to Trading Standards. They handle cases regarding misleading advertising and breach of contract.

UK - Financial Ombudsman: If you paid by credit or debit card, contact your bank to initiate a Chargeback or a Section 75 claim. Tell them the merchant misrepresented the product and is violating the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

US - Federal Trade Commission (FTC): If you are in the US or dealing with their US entity, file a report at ReportFraud. ftc. gov. They specifically track "hidden fee" and "deceptive refund" scams.

Action Fraud (UK): Since you mentioned the "Clonio vs Klippa" identity shift, report this as a fraud case at Action Fraud.

Quick Tip: When you call your bank for the chargeback, use the phrase "Service not as described" and "Failure to provide statutory cancellation rights." Banks usually side with the consumer when the merchant's "waiver" of rights is found to be buried or deceptive.

Too much marketing and thats all about it

If you’re looking into this, take a step back. Tools like this often promise seamless, polished results but the reality rarely matches the sales video. When a product claims consistency across AI-generated clips, yet shows obvious variation and instability, that’s a red flag.

Be especially cautious when branding feels unclear or shifts between names. That’s often a sign the marketing is stronger than the product itself.
Do your due diligence, wait for real user demonstrations, and don’t rush into buying based on slick ads alone.

Beware of this bait and switch

Beware of this bait and switch. We purchased and it did not work for what we needed on our YT channel and we cancelled within 9 days and they refused to refund $349.00 , Even after our initial email said to process a refund or cancellation go through this process, we did and didn’t read the fine print. Save your money and headache, they are horrible to deal with. The guy Matt that promotes this company, they say they don’t know who he is, I believe he gets direct kick backs from his promotion.
I hope they lose a lot of business for not offering hard working people a refund because their software doesn’t work for everyone.

Would give a zero if I could

Would give a zero if I could. I watched multiple ads before purchasing because I try not to get scammed, and in every one he clearly said, "don't worry, if you decide it's not for you after 30 days, we'll refund your money, no questions asked." Not true. He mentions nothing about subscriptions in his video, then you find out after purchasing you must pay monthly. There are hundreds of hours of videos to watch that are confusing, and actually making videos is not easy. I decided it wasn't for me, asked for a refund, and they sent me a document that said "no refunds." Told me I should have read the fine print at checkout. I have been in an email debate about the low level of integrity of a person when you verbally state refunds are allowed, and then trick people at the end. Terrible company just out to steal your money.

DO NOT BUY KLIPPA.IO IT IS SHOCKING

If you are researching this product before buying, pause. In its current state, it does not work as advertised. It claims to create a single usable reel from five uploaded videos, but in practice the characters change from clip to clip even when you clearly prompt it not to. The output is inconsistent and not usable.

The company advertises the product under the name clonio.io on the sales video but it's actually Kippa.io, so be cautious if you see that branding. You will likely recognise it from polished AI adverts and an AI generated sales video. That presentation does not match the actual product.

If you are doing due diligence, this is one to avoid for now. I will be sharing a YouTube video later this month showing the results in full so you can see the issues for yourself before spending any money. Who knows maybe it will work then, I'll come back to update but in the meantime. AVOID

The sales pitch on the video

The sales pitch on the video, which the presenter pretends to be live, and is not, should have been enough to keep me away. However, I bought the garbage they were selling. They said it is a simple copy the link into their program. I discovered that it is a lie. There are many more steps. I discovered this while watching the onboarding video. Never used the program, and they refuse to refund me. They claim I agreed to the terms and conditions, which the refund policy is buried somewhere in there. I explained to them that there are rules against misleading advertising and hiding material facts before taking money. DO NOT SIGN UP.

Took a part in the webinar that hosts…

Took a part in the webinar that hosts klippa. Webinar seemed pre recorded and very very sketchy. He rushes people to buy the course and contradicts himself by saying "there is only five spots left" and when five people assumably have joined he still says there is five spots left. Haven't purchased myself wouldn't trust

STAY AWAY! Scammer alert

The guy is scamming people.

Hosting webinars to rush people into buying his product, tells people theres “only a few spots left” & that it is “only available today” making people rush to pay. When looking at his website for days it is always available. Lying to people about “finding this product” when he made it. Telling people its a monthly cost when he charges yearly. Offers no refunds. If it does not work because you’re unable to use his strategy, if you say something about it you get a screenshot of the refund policy sent to you. The webinars are so fast pace and he pressures you to buy straight away theres no time to even read that, its not like he tells us the terms and conditions beforehand? We are just rushed to buy his product as its a SCAM!

This is very slimy and bad business. Stay far away.
