Not impressed. …
Kompan were engaged to put down rubber matting beneath some play equipment, to replace some worn out turf, and to adjust the angle of a plastic slide to prevent water pooling on the bottom section.
The matting looks good, but there was no preparation of the soil surface before the new turf was laid, and indeed it’s been laid on top of the old grass and even over the matting around the edges, with no soil underneath. I even found a squashed coke can under the new turf!
The top edge of the slide has been raised, but that hasn’t adjusted the angle of the anchored bottom section. So the plastic is now under strain, and the water still pools at the bottom.
I contacted Kompan, but didn’t get any response.
