My wife made a big order of multiple…

My wife made a big order of multiple package products imported from Spain and chuletones steaks, which never arrived. Tried calling and emailing the company, but they never answered. After a few days I was able to get a hold of someone, who couldn’t explained what happened with the steak order.

WRONG Product Image Posted

The ceramic mug pictured on the La Tienda website is not the mug that is actually shipped. I reordered these mugs on January 4, 2026 because I had previously owned the same set. When the order arrived, the mugs were much smaller than the ones shown online. I ordered four mugs expecting a matching set, and instead received three of one pattern and a fourth in a completely different pattern.
I contacted Customer Support and explained that the website shows the wrong product. Despite this being their error, the company refused to cover the return shipping cost and charged me to send the mugs back. The refund to my credit card was also delayed for more than two weeks, and I had to follow up myself to have it processed.
The incorrect product image is still posted on the website as of March 2026, and my email to the company owner received no reply. Customers should be able to trust that the product shown online is the product they will receive, and this company’s response to a clear mistake was disappointing and unacceptable.

I made a mistake . . .

I wrote a review below and I'd like to delete or revise it, but I don't know how. I made a mistake. I had La Tienda mixed up with another company that was selling a three-bowl set. After that didn't work out I went searching and did find their one bowl for $27, and when I saw the shipping I decided it was worth the extra bucks for a good bowl. I misremembered. I have been to their restaurant in St. Augustine and they have great food and good quality stuff, so don't listen to me. I take it all back. My bad. Happy New Year! . . .

The food I ordered was expired

The food I ordered was expired. I called, and they sent the same batch with an expiration date of 11/25. Will not order again.

They claim that if you have any issue to contact them and the will solve. Well.... that is a LIE. I bought a paella from them, it got burned and they did not answer my 3 emails..... what a shame of customer service apart from being a total SCAM

The worst

The worst! UPS lost the package and it's taken 3 wks to get anywhere w these ppl. When I finally was able to reach someone it was just attitude. They ended up refunding my money but never again.

Never Again!

I ordered food gifts for family ahead of time for Christmas 2024 and although they say they can't guarantee a date they sent them extremely early on the 11th of Dec. to arrive the 13th. I would have never ordered from them if I knew it was going to arrive that early prior to Christmas. Customer service was terrible and put the blame on me. I called and was taken to school about how they work rather than understanding that I'm downright embarrassed to be sending a food gift 2 weeks prior to Christmas!
Also, I have ordered from them in the past and this time as well and their food is overpriced and not spectacular. The chorizo in particular was too smoky and too fatty.

No customer service

No customer service. Don't ,i repeat don't order from them . No customer service, they will box your stuff wrong and they don't respond to customer service. Thawed perishable items, missing items. And they are not cheap. Sorry being a customer sing early 2000s but you have gone down hill since you open a store in Williamsburg VA. 3 emails and they don't respond. Hey wake up listeria caused by this!! I just called for benefit of doubt. No luck they dont even know who I'm I.

Terrible company

Terrible company. Received a gift card and found out it barely covered 4oz of ham since the shipping is so high. Company would not help or refund. "We’ll do whatever it takes to make it right." Yeah, right. Do not do business with.

I have been ordering from LaTienda for…

I have been ordering from LaTienda for many years, but now I can get a jamón serrano from Costco for $99 and it’s very good. Google: paella rice, morcillas, longanizas, sobrasada, queso manchego, turrón, etc, and you will find it for half the price. Enjoy !

Missing items in my order

Placed a two-item order. One item was not in the box when I opened it but was listed on the packing slip. Contacted customer service but they never replied. THEY STOLE MY MONEY...

I made a $300 order as a present and…

I made a $300 order as a present and they delivered to the wrong address. You pay over $50 for shipping and UPS just places your order in someone’s front door no signature requested, they request a delivery phone number when order is placed but they don’t contact the recipient if is not home to take the delivery😳😳😳 I’m in shock. Customer service took care of it and the re send my order hopefully yo right address and with signature request. Will update review after delivery is done correctly.
