Located in the historical city of Portsmouth since 2001. We have the pleasure of serving our customers in the busy Cascades Shopping Centre in Commercial Road. Whatever interest you might have in cameras, lenses, binoculars, telescopes or their associated accessories, we are here to help. We have a good range of astronomical telescopes in stock and also offer in-store sensor cleaning, firmware upgrades and image retrieval. We also enjoy dealing with your film camera needs, including a film processing service. With over 65 years' experience between our team of four staff, all of us have a passion for cameras, with a range of experiences of both photography and videography within them.

Adam was very informative.
Went in as a new photographer and spoke to Adam.
He gave me great service and advice about all different types of lenses and bodies, in context of what types of photography I wanted to do now and in the future, what my budget was and I came out with more knowledge than I went in with, some clear direction and the right lens for me.
I got good advice, based on industry knowledge and experience and got the right kit for me.
Adam fitted it to my camera body, showed me its capabilities and limitations, discussed whaty steps I should take to progress and learn.
Brilliant service. I'll be back in diue course.

Great service
I decided to reaquaint myself with a previous hobby of photography. Having done some research on entry level cameras, I settled on a Sony a6400. I chose to purchase it online from the London Camera Exchange. I've got to say the communication was fantastic. I received update emails every step of the way. The camera arrived the next working day following me submitting my order and was well packaged. I would certainly use LCE for any future photographic requirements.

LCE is my favourite place to get camera equipment secondhand. It’s always the best prices and the quality is as described. It’s a bit scary buying secondhand lenses over the internet because you can’t fully see how good it “really is”. Every time I’ve bought from them with quality described as “excellent” it truly is. Can’t find any flaws with the glass. It arrives the next day when ordered before 1pm, and it usually comes earlier than expected. Delivery often says 5-6pm but it has arrived in the morning more often.
