i have been going for 1 month and i love it. I have asked them to reserve a kit and they said they will. Amazing service.

Been using this shop for years. Always plenty of choice. Staff very helpful.
Anything you need can be ordered if not in stock.
Not many independent model shops around now , so always try and support this one.

Amazing amount of stock, all at very reasonable prices, plus they don't fleece you for postage.
Just received two small items in record time, don't expect a modern box shifter experience, what you will get is realistic prices for often obscure parts. Highly recommended.

This shop is terrible !!!
The staff are rude and obnoxious, you only have to look in the window to see their Sub Standard, faded rubbish, trading standards should be notified !!!

Rude service, not for first time but possibly the last

I have only dealt with Lendon's online, needing a number of spare parts for Hornby locos I was restoring, but have found them unfailingly helpful and very straight dealing. For example, I bought an item that they had to special-order from the manufacturer that carried a £5 delivery cost. A bit steep, perhaps, but not if they had to pay carriage to get it before sending on to me, and at least I could choose to buy, or not. But I then received an email telling me they were refunding £3 of the postage. Another item, though brand new, proved to be defective and I purchased another from them to save time. They immediately refunded the cost and carriage of the faulty item, and told me to dispose of it as I saw fit. Very trusting, and very refreshing. They are now my go-to first choice.

It isn't often you come across a shop like this

I find the staff helpful and honest even if it meant talking me out of a purchase. You don't usually find this in retail these days. It's a bit off the beaten path but has been there for decades so pretty well known. I've been going there for years and have never found a reason to complain. It's an old-fashioned, time warping real model shop. No fancy fittings or gimmicks, and a great blast from the past feeling when you walk through the door. This is how shops "should" be run. Not everything on the website is in stock but it's a massive amount of stock in the shop.
