Sellers of substandard products and terrible customer service.

My fiancee and I bought wedding rings from the Barbados store some months prior to our actual wedding in January 2024. Obviously those were not worn until the actual wedding.
My wife put her wedding ring, among other rings, to be cleaned before we went on holiday in January. The jewellers cleaned the other rings but would not clean the wedding ring as the stones were loose.
We put it into a reputable jewellers for repair who confirmed the stones were indeed loose and whilst they could tighten the stones they could not guarantee the repair as they sid the design was poor. They also said the design made the ring unfit to be a wedding ring worn every day.
We contacted Little Switzerland who at first seemed apologetic and helpful. They intimated they would cover a reasonable repair cost.
We send them a copy of the receipt for £90 and also the repairing jewellers opinion that it was unfit as a wedding ring.
Their attitude immediately changed, asking fo "an estimate" on "headed paper" from the repairer detailing the required work.
I pointed out that my wife obviously wanted her wedding ring so we had authorised the repair and that the jewellers details were all on their vat receipt along with the cost of the repair and what they had actually done.
Little Switzerland are now ignoring my emails, obviously hoping all this will go away.

I purchased some earings from little…

I purchased some earings from little switzerland for £1800.00
Real diamonds in 14 carat gold with certificate.
When i got home 1 diamond was darker than the other. I went to a jewellers who said the diamonds were worth less. Approx £150.00 the diamonds were not the grade little switzerland had been certified for even tho I had a reciept.
The quality was poor and the gold was cheap metal.
I contacted little switzerland for a refund to be told NO. Would I buy from them again ? No
Would i recommend them NO
ITS A SCAM PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM. GO TO A REPUTABLE JEWLERS INSTEAD.
I have contacts with cruise liners and this review will be passed on to EVERYBODY.

Warranty was honoured with a personal touch

I purchased a flex bracelet for my wife at a price of $1800USD at the Aruba store in 2022, which included a one-year warranty. Within the warranty period, the bracelet came apart at the clasp and so I contacted the warranty department, sent in a copy of the invoice, and a photo of the bracelet. I was sent a claim number and mailed the bracelet to them as requested.
A few weeks passed, and I was contacted to advise that the bracelet could not be repaired. After some discussion and a call from Lucas, the store manager in Aruba, he offered several options to make things right and the best solution was that he was able to locate another of the same bracelet at another location and had it shipped to me in exchange of the broken piece. He even included a gift card to offset some incidental cost/inconvenience related to the shipping fee to send the bracelet in for warranty and the Canada brokerage cost for receiving it back.
We have purchased other pieces from various Little Switzerland locations as well as other competitors. The follow up personal service by Lucas will bring us back to the Aruba location where we hope to continue as a valued customer.

Not sure if shady, or just inept…

I ordered a piece that has been discontinued they claimed they still had access to. I asked them to verify this, which they said they did, so I was willing to wait and give them the benefit of the doubt. It felt a little off, but others have spoken well of them before, so I let that slide.

While they held my money, the price for this piece has gone up and availability has gotten worse. Then, some weeks later, out of the blue they tell me they had no idea the watch was discontinued and there’s just no way to get one, despite our earlier conversations clearly betraying otherwise.

So now I have to pay someone else much more than I paid them to get the watch they promised me and then lied knowing more about. They also said they’d help me get some parts for another watch, but they’ve just gone silent on that.

So, I’m not sure if they’re shady or just inept, but I can’t recommend dealing with them when there are so many better and more trustworthy companies out there.
