London, avoid at all cost - Horrible Experience with getting a fire alarm installed. Two incompetent subcontractors were sent and made a complete mess of my property and were incredibly unprofessional throughout. I have thousands of pounds worth of damage done that needs repairing, and a possession belonging to a tenant was destroyed. They offered only to cover that cost but insist payment for the rest of the deposit. Feels like a completely illegitimate company, customer service barely speaks English and cant communicate properly with clients.

London Property Inspections booked me in a week in advance for installing a new socket and a couple of reports but, on the day, they cancelled on me at short notice (at 12:21 for a 14:00 scheduled arrival)!

This was extremely inconvenient since I had come in from outside of London especially to get this work done. They could not send in anyone to do this work for me, and then left it so late to tell me that it was impossible to get a replacement!

The person on the phone used the excuse that they engineer had a problem with the van, something that comes up often in the 1-star reviews against this company.

I would not rely on this company to show up at your door, even if you have a booking. Avoid.

Dreadful service. AVOID. I booked for an EICR on 30th October including fuse box replacement. Despite the Electrician visiting in November I was told on 18th November by email that the EICR was ready and would be provided immediately if I paid the £650 for fuse box replacement which I did.

Then the story changed and LPI claimed the EICR wasn't actually ready at all and the electrician had to go back. I spent 2 weeks bombarding them with texts emails to get the date in with daily promises they would "definitely give a date end of the day" and always hearing nothing.

Eventually after I threatened legal action they sorted it and again I had to bombard them to get the certificate which finally arrived 11th December.

I needed an EICR done in a let property and London Property Inspections provided an excellent and prompt service for a reasonable price for the initial inspection and for a second visit to undertake a small amount of work for compliance. Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended and will use again.

Allison and Sam were so helpful. I had so much trouble with the last minute to sort out my EICR.
Sam even stayed back after work to arrange for an engineer to attend the property.

I dealt with LPI and I found them very professional with excellent communication skills administratively and also the electrician and all the technical staff were great. All my assessments for my property were with great standard. The price was good also. Thank you so much for your support.

Needed an address amendment made to a gas safety certificate. Issue was speedily and efficiently resolved.

THIS COMPANY IS THE WOST. I never leave reviews but if this can help someone AVOID what I have experienced with this company - I’ll do it. I told them I have an URGENT certification as I have a pressing deadline with an authority. They scheduled it for the next day feom 1pm - 6pm. Janade (the engineer) showed up HOURS earlier when i was not home and at a funeral. THEN I had to complain and rebook for Saturday. On Saturday, he tells me there is a LET BY FAULT and had to switch off my gas and call SGN. SGN worker and Janade (LPI engineer) had a conversation and JANADE WAS WRONG. THERE WAS NO LET BY FAULT, there was actually a gas leak that I had to call someone else to fix. THEN Janade comes back fiddles either the boiler and then gives me an incorrect certificate making me Miss deadlines. EVERYONE FROM ALISON AND SAM AND JANADE IS DUMB.

Incredibly unprofessional. We scheduled an appointment and no one showed up, for two weeks in a row. No one even called to let us know or reschedule.

Do not trust this company. They will tell you that you need all sorts of work done, at considerable cost when you don’t need it. They sent me an invoice for over £1000 for work they said was necessary. When I got a trusted electrician and gas expert in, none of it was needed.

Scheduled an inspection on a Friday, was told the day before the van broke down so inspection was moved to Tuesday. Engineer never showed up within the 5 hour slot, but was promised a 2 hour slot the next day. Surprise surprise the engineer also didn't show up. They were also very unhelpful to the estate agent who was helping to arrange the booking, repeatedly hanging up on her. Avoid at all costs

Responsive and their reports were always complete. A go to compliance cert company. Special thanks to Allison and Carol.

The surveyor did not turn up. Did not inform.
When checked, they said the guy had a vehicle collision, okay, happens. Only found out when I had to call.

They apologised but did not offer to reschedule or compensate.

Carol was super helpful with getting my EPC sorted. She made the whole process really easy and explained everything in a way I could understand. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was friendly and easy to talk to. Also the assessor Zahidur was really helpful and quick.I’d definitely recommend both to anyone who needs an EPC done!
