Louis Boyd founded the company in September 1960, when he was just 26 years old, as one of the first dedicated menswear retailers in the town of Newry. Louis Boyd Fashions, as we were then known, grew hugely in popularity providing the people of Newry with brands and styles that they had rarely seen before. Over the years, men and women got a taste of top brands and new styles, such as tapered trousers, slim fit shirts, jeans and more, all of which were available at Louis Boyd's. Today, the business has evolved to house many branches across 5 locations in Newry, Craigavon and Belfast. Louis Boyd now specialises in casual wear, footwear, formal wear, as well as hiring/buying of menswear for formal occasions. We stock top brands and continue to expand our range of suppliers, to service the customer with the most complete experience. Today we're pleased to deliver the premium Louis Boyd experience to customers from all over the globe, continuing the traditions started in this family-run business in 1960.

Awful. Bought in their outlet store before Xmas. Asked for 15" shirt and their incompetent staff gave me a 17". I went to return, no returns. Scam. I'll never shop here again

Thank you for your feedback. At the time of your purchase, our Louis Boyd Buttercrane store was holding a relocation sale, with discounts of up to 75% off full price. This was clearly signed throughout the store, and our team explained at the till before purchase that all sale items were non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Customers were also advised that it is their responsibility to ensure the correct size is selected before completing the purchase. We appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your feedback. We use Parcelforce (Royal Mail) as our delivery partner for ROI and generally do not experience any issues with delivery. However, after investigating your order, it appears there was an issue with the postal address, and for this, we sincerely apologise. We have contacted Royal Mail to investigate further to understand exactly what happened.

Selling stock they don't have and Zero customer service
Ordered a couple of pairs of chinos from this 'company' and a few days later get an email stating the order has been cancelled. No reason included or even an apology. I get that there can be stock issues - but both pairs were on the website for over a week. So they either don't update stock at all or simply don't care if they take people's money for stock they know they don't have. Don't order from them at all would be my advice.

The discount and apology was a reply to my email response to the cancellation email pointing out a lack of customer service.
Why would anyone want a discount for a store they would never spend money in again.

As we explained when we got in touch, a stock system error meant the items weren’t actually available — something that was completely unintentional and very unfortunate.
