Louis Boyd founded the company in September 1960, when he was just 26 years old, as one of the first dedicated menswear retailers in the town of Newry. Louis Boyd Fashions, as we were then known, grew hugely in popularity providing the people of Newry with brands and styles that they had rarely seen before. Over the years, men and women got a taste of top brands and new styles, such as tapered trousers, slim fit shirts, jeans and more, all of which were available at Louis Boyd's. Today, the business has evolved to house many branches across 5 locations in Newry, Craigavon and Belfast. Louis Boyd now specialises in casual wear, footwear, formal wear, as well as hiring/buying of menswear for formal occasions. We stock top brands and continue to expand our range of suppliers, to service the customer with the most complete experience. Today we're pleased to deliver the premium Louis Boyd experience to customers from all over the globe, continuing the traditions started in this family-run business in 1960.

can’t get a refund, even with a receipt
I bought a couple of items for my husband for Christmas, unfortunately they were unsuitable as they didn’t fit. The shop didn’t carry anything else he would have liked so I came in with my receipts to only be given a credit note. Unsure as to why I wasn’t allowed a refund as I was within 30 days of purchase. According to the sales staff you only have 2 weeks to return for a refund, which I don’t understand how that’s okay during the festive season. Does that mean if I wish to purchase anything I’m best waiting to Christmas week incase it doesn’t suit? In today’s cost of living crisis, and the fact it is Christmas, I just can’t believe the shop can get away with taking my money and not giving it back.
Absolute shambles. £140 now wasted. Will never shop aim Louis Boyd again.

Unfortunately, one of the items in your order was bought at the same time as in one of our stores, so we didn't have the item to post out to you.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. I can see that you were promptly refunded the difference within a couple of hours and the rest of your order was available to collect on the same day.

Great Chinos and fast service.
Bought a brand of chinos I couldn't find anywhere else (Mish Mash) and was totally pleased with the chinos and the fast service over the water to England. Will definitely use these boys again.

Only quibble they arrived in a plastic delivery bag, I would of preferred packaging a bit more substantial in case the jeans got ripped or damaged as the postman shoved them through the letter box. Saying that they were totally unmarked. Very happy. Would definitely use again.

Made purchases online and paid for them . Had a missed call with no message left from shop which i had to google number to find out . Received an email to collect and wasn't informed that there were Items not available which were already sold .Only found this out when opened parcel

One star as it was delayed and the corresponding person wasn't helpful.
I place the order for next day delivery and I didn't receive the order instead I received an email four days later to say it was ready for collection, this was particularly annoying.
When ordering I clicked ship to address and added my details in however I received an email stating they were ready to be collected in Newry which is no were near my given address. once I emailed regarding the query, initially the response was lacking.
I am a frequent shopper at Louis Boyd but this whole experience was very underwhelming. To say that I was accommodated with free shipping is laughable as it stated on the website that free shipping was included when you spent a minimum amount of money and given my orders I was intitled to the free shipping.

Sorry to read that you are not satisfied. I have looked into this and can see that you placed two recent orders with us.
You requested both orders for Click & Collect from one of our stores - both of these orders were ready for collection the next working day after you placed the order.
A couple of days later, we received an email from you stating that you wished to change your shipment method and have the items posted to you instead. You received a friendly response from our online team and we accomodated you with free postage. The orders were recalled from our store and posted to you. I can see from the tracking that they were delivered to your address last week.
I have reviewed all the emails exchanged and it is clear that our team were friendly and helpful at all times. This part of your review in particular is completely unfair.
I also challenge the suggestion that your orders were delayed (since they were ready for collection the next working day - that's as fast as we can ship orders).
I hope you will consider amending your review to reflect the situation more fairly.
