I was given a better quote from another company hours later but maybe they were not giving it to me like for like.

I thought I was told my monthly payment with EDF would be £80 but it turns out it is £190 - exactly what it was before I spoke to you. So I’m not happy at all.

It's when there's an issue with your electricity supply that you find out if you have used a really good company or if it's one that just gives you empty promises.

I've used Love Business to arrange my fixed contract electricity contracts for several years without issue but this time, mid term, EDF decided to cancel my contract with 9 months to run and put me on a flexible contract.

As a result of this my bills doubled overnight and every time I contacted EDF it was like talking to a brick wall even when I sent them a copy of their own contract showing correct rates and dates etc.

Finally after I requested a deadlock letter EDF kicked the case back to Love Business who have been fantastic, especially Ella M who has worked tirelessly to get the result I wanted - a return to the agreed contract and the overstated bills recalculated.

This has taken over 9 weeks in total but if not for Love Business and Ella M I could definitely see that I would still have been fighting EDF when my new contract is due to start in September!

There was no pressure to sign up. Everything was explained clearly and the advisor was very polite and understanding.

I started out thinking Love Energy was a scam and was very aware of it. After talking to Rosie who went through everything with me and put me at ease, I realised they were a proper company. Our Gas and Electric was locked in for 2027 at a much lower cost that we are currently paying and I now understand that Love Energy works for us consumers.
