Absolute rip off prices ,I had a quote…
Absolute rip off prices ,I had a quote to remove two tonne bags for nearly £800 ,the other was nearly £400...I used a local company which charged £180

Quick response - expert removal skills
Was contacted by a removal company minutes after uploading my request and by two more in the following couple of hours. I chose the first company as although it wasn't cheap it was significantly less expensive than the others. The two removal men had excellent logistical skills and were able to remove a large, heavy chesterfield sofabed out of an awkard hallway without dismantling it first. Impressive!

Disappointing experience
Collection excellent. However LoveJunk process unacceptable. Ticked the ‘any time’ box understanding this to mean whenever suitable for both parties. No follow up. Collector turned up next day at 11.00am - Good Friday. This would NEVER have been acceptable. I was at church. Somehow collector opened two locked side gates to gain access to the items. Cannot thus recommend LoveJunk.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear the collection itself was completed successfully, but we are very sorry for the concern caused by the timing of the visit and the access to your property.
We understand why this would have been upsetting, particularly on Good Friday and while you were away from home. Although the listing had been marked as available at any time, we appreciate that you had understood this to mean a mutually suitable time would be agreed in advance.
The collector did attempt to make contact before attending and understood your message explaining that the items were located in an easy-access area as confirmation that the waste was accessible and ready for collection. With that understanding, he attended the property to complete the job as efficiently as possible. That said, we do recognise that clearer confirmation should have been in place before the collection went ahead.
We also understand your concern regarding access through the side gates, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have raised this directly with the collector, as clear communication and respect for property access are both very important to us. Going forward, we have asked him to ensure collection timing is fully confirmed with the customer before attending.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Feedback like this is invaluable in helping us improve the service we provide through the platform.
Very Poor Service
He put the price up despite my description of the items being accurate. He also came banging on my door without telling me when he was coming. I should have just told him to go away as his manner was very unfriendly.

Really pleased with this service
Really pleased with this service. We have posted 3 times and been quickly provided with someone who would remove our rubbish/surplus items. Very easy to post items and get replies. Paying the website offers a good guarantee of getting a service and then when satisfied pay the service provider. Would recommend.
