Wedding Photo Booth

I had booked the booth by lovestream in September 2025 for my July 2026 wedding and put down a $450 deposit. In February due to personal reasons I needed to cancel the contract. It has proven extremely difficult to get a hold of an actual person at this company. My mother and I have called and emailed numerous times over the past month and been constantly rerouted to automated messages. Finally, after weeks of this we received an email today asking if we would like to cancel our contract and lose our $450 (again appeared to be automated). While I understand we signed a contract, I find it hard to believe we couldn’t get our deposit back when when we initially tried to cancel we were 5 months away from the event. I was hoping to talk to an actual person and work this out. The money issue aside, the fact that it was such an involved process to even speak to someone regarding our need to cancel was incredibly frustrating and makes me feel a lot better about not using them for my event. All other vendors I have booked have been easily accessible and incredibly responsive…that was not the case with lovestream.

To clarify for anyone reading, the $450 paid at booking was a non-refundable retainer (not a deposit), which is outlined in the agreement and secures the event date and equipment allocation. This policy is applied consistently to all clients, regardless of when a cancellation occurs. In the most recent communication, the client also expressly acknowledged understanding this policy and requested that we make an exception.
We understand you shared that the cancellation was due to realizing several months after booking that the reservation was made with the wrong vendor. While we certainly empathize with situations like this, the terms of the agreement still apply.
That said, once we were able to connect, we did offer to cancel the contract, waive the remaining balance, and convert the retainer into a credit for a future event so the value could still be used.
We’re also sorry to hear that communication felt difficult. As a small team managing thousands of events nationwide, we handle pre-event support primarily via email to ensure all requests are tracked and responded to as efficiently as possible.
We truly wish you the best with your upcoming wedding and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Fast and easy setup and really fast delivery
Lovestream PhotoBooth was an awesome and huge hit at our party. We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday. And everybody loved the Photo Booth. It was an easy set up and an easy delivery.

Great overall experience
It was easy to set up based on instructions. I loved that we weren't limited with just a few hours. We were able to navigate the app easy. The videos and pictures were clear. I loved that we had access to the entire album of pictures and videos taken. We had a great overall experience.

Just wanted to take the time to thank Ryan and his amazing team. The Photo Booth was so much fun. My guests had a great time. And the best part was getting all of the photos after. It was easy to set up and easy to use. The customer service when I had an issue was perfection. I would recommend them over and over again. My daughter’s sweet 16 was amazing.

Such a great idea! This was a last minute addition I made to include in our wedding. It truly made our guests feel more included and everyone had a lot of fun.

The quote provided before reservation was not accurate and after reservation they wanted to charge more. Also offered no refunds after the reservation.

Hi Hessam — we’re sorry there was confusion. When you first reached out two days before your event, our team replied that evening and explained the rush fee required for last-minute orders due to additional shipping charges. That fee is also listed on our website for bookings made under one week before the event and in the Terms agreed to during checkout.
The order was then placed online after that conversation. While refunds are not typically available for last-minute bookings due to the preparation and shipping involved, our support team still offered one as a courtesy while working through the situation with you.
