DO NOT BUY any type of MAGELLAN GPS…
Do not buy any type of Magellan GPS product. I bought a Yamaha Adventure Pro and have had nothing but problems since day one. Yamaha customer service was great and replaced my unit on two different occasions. The GPS units continually lock up in the start up screen. These units fail after one or two outings. When my 3rd unit failed, I contacted Magellan. What a mistake, after sending pictures of the screen and trying remedies they suggested, Magellan admitted the unit is bad and said “Yes, it is defective”. This is after over 15 emails to them asking for help. Their next response was to say “ Yes it is defective, but not our problem, take it to some one else” When I complained that it is their unit and they should take care of the problem, they said,” Sorry that is our policy , sorry for the inconvenience, please consider purchasing another Magellan product. UNREAL !! AVOID purchasing a MAGELLAN GPS product at all costs!! This company does not stand behind it’s products, and has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
