Highly recommended
I have used numerous map providers for planning maps etc. Mapserve prices are competitive and they have the best layer management. Even the least expensive maps have clear layers that can be easily controlled in various programmes (graphic overrides in Revit for instance).
I highly recommend.

I like the simplicity of using…
I like the simplicity of using Mapserve. The plans can be obtained in different formats which can be really useful. I also like the option to add data according to the final use of the plan. It is so easy to use a child could do it.

Having previously been a user of Promap we have experienced a much quicker and easier way of obtaining the necessary dxf file for our projects using Mapserve. There is no need to go anywhere else for your digital mapping needs.

I find the Mapserve digital extracts…
I find the Mapserve digital extracts very useful with the Lidar Levels. A lot of planning applications have to be submitted with an existing / proposed level and it avoids getting a Topo saving time & money.

Simple to order, plenty of options. It would be helpful though if the selected drawn area represented the maximum area for the price band.

MapServe is easy to use due to the simple navigation of the steps to find the site, identify the area required and purchase.

The downloading of maps is a straigh forward operation and can be achieved quickly. The quality is also excellent. I have been using Map Serve daily for a couple of years and have had very few if any problems with delivery.

I wanted the map to be A4, and I have no ideas what it is.
Its a png format. and I would rather it was JPeg or PDF.

Confusing interface, excellent value, great customer service

Easy to navigate
I have used Mapserve for some years as I need to download OS data in CAD format.
The site is easy to navigate and easy to select using the polygon tool.
Sometimes it can be a pain if trying to pan without having to change scales etc, easier if you have an accurate location when starting your search.
We use What3Words for many location services these days, perhaps Mapserve could add that in the search section.
All in all a great site.

AVOID MAPSERVE - Frustrating and Non-User Friendly
AVOID - Absolutely useless and not user friendly in any way. The programme that has been designed has some serious flaws in it. The main one is that you cannot delete any single addition to the map, whether that be a boundary line or text without ALL your work being deleted at the same time. The customer service assistant was as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. I asked for a member of the management team to call and explain why you design and market a system for public use when you can't even delete your last actions???? Still waiting. AVOID
