This letting company is terrible. In the flat I lived they divided walls of rooms with material alike to carton (could hear everything through) and in the midst of covid shoved as many people into the flat as they could.
They gave me a contract to sign, which later my lawyer confirmed to be illegal (way too high of a rent charge) plus, they never returned my deposit. I've been going through a court case and waiting for it for around two years now...
They are absolute scammers, taking advantage of foreign students who don't know their rights so well and therefore can overcharge them and have them sign illegal contracts.
Highly recommend to stay away and tell all your friends about them.

Regrettably, I booked an apartment and trapped in a real hell for more than 3 months. I was not aware that this Habyt Properties (Medici Living Gmbh) is the Habitat of substandard Indian, Pakistani and Turkish labours. I felt like staying in a slum area, the apartment is overcrowded with dirty and substandard tenants, the toilets and the common areas are always busy and contaminated all day and night. The Indian tenants will start the cooking competition using their disgusting spices and smoky ingredients in the kitchen from early morning till midnight, all the other tenants have to deliberately keep coughing to stop the cookery show. Literally, the Indian tenants will cook you out of the apartment.
We need an FFP3 mask to get rid of the foul smell while accessing the dirty and overcrowded common areas and toilets in the apartment. The rental agency do not provide the option to view the apartment before confirming the reservation. In fact, nobody will book this apartment if they allow to do so. It is such a piteous rental agency with lousy tenants and woeful service, the only option to contact them is via email, they don't even know how to revert promptly to the complaints or queries. I didn't like to stay in that hellhole full of such disgusting tenants for even a month. Unfortunately, I had to wait for more than three months to cancel the contract because of the pointless terms and conditions. They did not refund the whole deposit amount and were charging 865 Euros for this sharing apartment that doesn't even worth 300 Euros per month. I have initiated filing complaints and the legal proceedings regarding the overpricing and other violations of terms and conditions. Please don't follow the fake advertisements of this tenth-rate apartment rental agency and get screwed up in their shambles!

Besides having a constrcution side directly infront of my apartment in Munich without any previous information, the living standard was not okay at all.

Broken parts have not been fixed after messaging the Medivi Living various times for several month.
Now I am moving out and there is no customer support. They do not respond at mails or telefon.

Please do not make the same mistake as I did and rent an apartment from Medici Living!

I lived in a property of them in Amsterdam. When I ended my tenancy, I received back only one part of my deposit due to municipality taxes. However, the amount that was deducted wasn't relevant to the real charges that I had to pay. I calculated them together with a lawyer and we realized that they overcharged me and, when I was constantly asking for invoices and legal proof I wasn't receiving any.

They refused to accept my my termination agreement which was within thier terms of Agreemet. They also lied to Housing Anywhere (housinganywhere) that they fixed the issues in the apartment which was not comletely true. Never pay for a house you did not see. Especially with this company. I promise you will regret it.

Horrible company who take advantage of foreigners and scam them! Avoid at all costs!!

Got a room with damages and they don’t fix it.

They don’t want to accept my termination within their cancellation notice. I fullfill every term. It is not a serious company.

They don’t answer. I think about to contact a lawyer. Don’t take Medici living or quarters. Take a serious landlord.

Quarters Experience the worst!!

I just wanna share my experience with this company, which is a mess.
A mess is a harmless word for this what this company think they doing.
At first of all I´m moving in, the bathroom and toilet rooms are a cloak!!
I don´t know what it is very old and not repaired ( I don´t know ) smells like a death Animal. The Ex- Tenants clean it a lot but nothing helps. Next
washing machine defect the door was broken. We send the Support an Email, they send us a guy, again 3 weeks waiting for a new tool. It means now we sitting here without a washing machine 6 Weeks!! No one cares by Medici they get informed by the tenants we have the EMails. All processes takes long, if you have any questions no one cares or can help. The Support is a worst! Easy in renting but if you have any problems forget it. It was my 2nd experience with this Company. Same long time ago I think 8 years ago, same dirty smelling flats with dirty tenants and freaking people. This Company renting flats, cheap Ikea stuff inside, renovate a bit that looks beautiful but behind the walls a lot of trash and no words for this p**n here. Attached the pictures that everyone can see what a dirty and messy companie that is. They talking to you like a foolish kid, they are no humans they are animals in badest way, really.

Don´t move in before viewing this is the concept from this company and yes haha we see here why. Over rated in rents I paid 1900 Euro for a trash household with freaks as tenants. My other tenant never take a shower, his room, when he goes on toilet it smells like ( people live on streets ) the other one, full worker, dominate the house and wanna that the rest of tenants clean the house for her. The Situation is exhausted here and I moved out. It´s too expensive, too much stress for nothing, the flats from this company are too far from city center and too expensive for a trash.

It's extremely rare that they answer your emails or your calls. Had in winter for an entire month no warm water and in Germany they have to pay you back a percentage of the the rent when that happens. I emailed and said them that in person. Since then 2 months went by, nothing. They charge you when you pay a couple days late, but they as an company don't even manage to pay your deposit back in time. What can you do about it? CANCEL THIS COMPANY, DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY
You can rent a room here pretty fast and give them your money pretty fast.
Update: Apparently they dont pay me the full deposit and cold flat money back cause of the Mietendeckel, thank you for the early information.

I used Medici Living service and I can tell that they are working in professional way, the customer service was reacting in time and was very kind. The whole process of my move-in was smooth and fine, the rented accommodation was clean and was as that as shown in the advertisement, customer service solved my requests, many thanks. Recommending!

If I could give zero stars I would. I moved into a room in Berlin. First time moving there. When I arrived the room was filthy dirty even though they wrote that they had cleaned it. I had to spend 6 hours cleaning a small room(there were food stains on the walls). after about a week of living there I started to get a lot of bedbugs bites and I sent them pictures and called them to ask for my deposit back, since I don't want to live in a bed bug infected apartment. They told me that I had to pay 3 months rent and that I couldn't get my deposit back until the 3 months had passed?!? They wouldn't even let me move to another apartment of theirs even though they own thousands of crappy apartments. After about two months I was exhausted from not being able to sleep properly and my body was filled with itching bites it looked horrible alle over. I had gotten enough and decided to pack up my stuff and just move back home to Denmark even though I was supposed to stay in Berlin for much longer. Medici made sure I had no deposit money to put into another rental because they were holding up all my money. *middle finger* to medici living - they dont care about their apartments or their customers. They only care about scamming people for money and I feel sorry for all their employees who have to answer emails and phone calls, they take all the crap while the owners of the company are probably laughing their ass off on the way to the bank.
