Had a fabulous day , thought it was going to be abit too long , but I found each talk so informative and interesting and the time went too quick. It was lovely to talk about experiences to other women, who were all lovely and friendly. I found myself trying new foods which I didnt think I would like. It has been 2 months since I visited the retreat and I can honestly say my mindset has changed for the better.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day! The yoga lady I found a little unsupportive due to the fact I could not kneel and get down on the floor after two replacements. The remainder of the day was extremely informative and I felt very much at ease.

The snacks, together with the lunch were very good.

Would highly recommend this to other ladies and felt that I had gained an awful lot from the sessions.

I can highly recommend a one day Fountain Retreat. The speakers were passionate, knowledgeable and had a sense of humour. No questions or topics were taboo or out of bounds. The day was supportive, fun and full of amazing women. I left feeling positive and empowered. I hope you do too.
Oh and lunch and sweet treats were amazing too!

Relaxation, useful information, great food and great company.
Interesting engaging talks about menopause and how our bodies are changing.

Fantastic day retreat at The Queen's Hotel Cheltenham. It was very informative & helpful as each session was delivered by friendly, knowledgeable hosts who were happy to answer any questions. The yoga was an inspired way to start & was accessible to all abilities. I particularly enjoyed the session with the nutritionist which was followed by chocolate & alcohol free wine tasting, which were both delicious! The hotel staff were attentive & the buffet lunch was lovely. I would recommend this to anyone who is over 45 even if you haven't started to experience menopause, as it will help you to make decisions which will empower & equip you through a new, sometimes challenging phase of your life!

I was honoured to be able to attend a menopause retreat day in Birmingham with Fountain Retreats. It was 5 star from the word go. I went on my own which was nerve racking anyway. However I was put at my ease from the point of registration and made so very welcome by all the staff and met lovely ladies who were of different ages on the same journey as me.

It was a very interactive, informative day, packed with a vast amount of knowledge which was presented to us by amazing specialists and experts in their field. I felt each session throughout the day was explained in a way which I could understand, so professionally presented with lots of humour along the way. I’m still buzzing days later and feel so much more armed with information that has answered so many questions for me. I’m not going mad after all!

The yoga class was a lovely treat to start the day and the lunch was healthy and delicious. I would highly recommend if you get the opportunity to attend one of these events as you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for such a memorable day.

Absolutely the best money I could have invested in myself. Instead of accepting what’s happening to me I wanted to take control of what my body is going through.The staff and guests were so friendly and supportive. I cannot emphasise how very important it is to realise that you are not alone and that out there there are people who want to help and want to be helped to get onto the next stage of life.
I will be embracing what the future has to bring because after yesterday’s retreat I realise that I can do so much to help myself.
I laughed and learnt all day. Forget self help books, book yourself into a fountain retreat and get back into the driving seat of your own life. Go with an open mind and be willing to take any advice offered to you. I can honestly say I loved it all from the advice from the menopause nurse to the nutritionist and then the counsellor. Best part of it all is that they are women that know what we are all going through.

This was a great day, particularly enjoyed the yoga and the psycology sessions. Very friendly leaders and other people on the day were lovely. However my one criticism is that the day wasn't very inclusive in terms of language and thinking outside the heterosexual, cisgendered box.. Lots of assumptions about everyone having opposite sex partners and experiences from the workshop leaders which made it very difficult to talk about my life and experiences. Maybe a little more thought and education around language used... Lesbians get the menopause too...

Throughly enjoyed my Menopause Retreat at Birmingham, very welcoming and friendly lovely venue, excellent food, loved meeting ladies who are going through the same as me, great talks learnt alot in the one day, would highly recommend, will be booking another retreat next year, thank you Fountain Retreat 😊❤

Oh my goodness! I wish every woman could go on a Fountain Retreat. The quality of care and thought and information they pack into one one day is incredible. But the whole day is relaxed and safe and covers all the things we can feel dreadfully alone with. I now feel so much more empowered to go back to my GP and ask for what I need. I also now realise just how many of my challenges are actually connected to my menopause journey. Meeting women to talk to, a nurse, yoga, nutritionist, psychologist...amazing day. SO glad I went, cant recommend enough. I’m not going crazy after all! Thank you xx

Loved my day at Fountain Retreat menopause wellbeing day in Cheltenham. All the presenters had huge amounts of knowledge, yet presented it in an easy to understand and entertaining way. The day was made up of a great mix of food, information and yoga. I came away inspired and feeling like I was in control. I would highly recommend Fountain Retreats to any female who is 40+. This retreat will help you to empower yourself before menopause hits, and know exactly how to cope when it does!

it was such an amazing day created by professional team. I felt pampered also learned so much. We were group of women all range of age having similar issues at such an elegant hotel. I felt relief after and more strong.

Every woman should go on this, lots of great tips for making the menopause easier. Great to meet and talk to so many people and to know we are all dealing with the same things (it's not just me losing my marbles hooray!)

So lucky to have won one of the places on the retreat and grateful to be able to participate in what was a fantastic day!!

Wasnt sure what to expect as I havent been on a retreat before.
The venue was lovely, good communication beforehand with good directions etc. The welcome was very warm and the atmosphere friendly. I went on my own but didnt feel left out or awkward.
Lovely yoga session to start with. Very gentle anyone could do it and if you didnt want to do a particular move that was fine; no one put pressure on you to do it. Good opportunity to ask questions after.
The session with the nurse was informative and explained the biology.
Most amazing lunch with things I wouldnt normally try. Really tasty and filling.
Great sessions in the afternoon covering healthy diet and your mindset. Lots of opportunity for interaction and questions if you wanted to.
Really lovely day, lots of info. There are things I'm going to try and put into practice. Dont let any aspect put you off, its relaxed no one is forced to do anything or made to feel uncomfortable, you can share as much or as little as you want.

A well organised and informative day with an excellent yoga session to start and then experts talking and listening throughout the day with very useful advice. Reassuring to chat to lots of women at the same life stage. Food was healthy and delicious. A perfectly planned day and well worth attending. I highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the day, I was very lucky to have won places for myself and a friend as had been seeing fountain retreats on Facebook. It would be great if it was run for husbands and GP’s/ other health care professionals so that people who are not as fortunate as me to win a place or can’t afford it can be enlightened,I will definitely continue to spread the word that it is menopause not madness. The yoga was fab, food was exceptional (have bought my apple cider vinegar), I learned again the biology basics and heard some great info from Nicky the nurse, and Dee was an engaging speaker, thank you 😊
