BEWARE: Never received a refund for the returned items!
I ordered a bunch of individual glass marbles on the website Mes Billes on the 20th December 2022 for a total cost of 71,95 eur. I was very disappointed in the packaging. The majority of the marbles were just wrapped in a net, which is totally unsuitable for glass pieces. One of the marbles began breaking and my package was full of sharp pieces of glass. I expected the marbles to be wrapped individually at least in some paper. For shipping cost of 12 eur I would really expect better packaging. Also many of the marbles were not round, badly processed, had cuts or holes etc. I decided to use this company especially because they sell individual marbles and therefore I would expect to receive nice pieces, especially since I ordered the larger ones. Also some of the marbles weren't in the size that I ordered. In total 13 marbles weren’t as they should be and I send the seller pictures and descriptions of the damage the same day I received them. I received a partial refund of 8,17 eur for only 4 marbles on the 7th of January 2023. Since I obviously wasn’t ok with that I decided to send the whole order back in order to receive a full refund and the seller also confirmed that they would refund my shipping costs once I send them a photo of the postal receipt, which I did (I also want to receive a refund for shipping costs back to the seller, since it is hardly my fault that the marbles were packaged in this way.). I send the package back on the 20th of january and the tracking number shows that they received the package on the 24th of January. The seller never contacted me again or issued my refund despite my persistent e-mail writing. They owe me 63 eur for the original order and 8,17 eur for the shipping costs back to them, which totals 71.17 eur. I have last contacted the seller on the 20th of February without success, so I have now decided to file a complaint with PayPal.
