We had to move just before Christmas from the Isle of Wight to the mainland and it wasn’t a straightforward move as it included a vintage car, a vintage motor cycle plus all the workshop equipment in addition to the contents of a four bedroom house. The Mews team were absolutely brilliant and took all the stress out of what may have been a nightmare. They really are the gentleman movers!

Absolutely delighted with this company's services - prompt, courteous and careful handling of our furniture which included antique items and heavy mirrors which had to be carried up two flights of stairs. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone needing domestic removals, especially to/from The Isle of Wight.

The day I moved the heavens opened, with new cream carpets I was worried about the colour they would end up. The guys put blankets down on all the carpets, without even being asked. Thank you for a stress free move.

I just wanted to give some feedback about our recent move from Nottinghamshire to Bullen Village, which MEW helped with.

From my initial contact with Harriet, John and then Roger and Bugsy (our removal technicians...love that name!) it was obvious that we were dealing with a great company. Courtesy, efficiency and friendliness are not always terms associated with business, but MEW has these in copious amounts.

As soon as we met Roger and Bugsy we knew we were in safe hands. From the start they were organised, helpful and incredibly hard working. They made the odious task of loading the lorry great fun and nothing was too much trouble. When they arrived at our new home they cracked on settling us with the same enthusiasm as before; despite the awful weather conditions during their journey here.

Many companies will boast about being a ‘family business’ but MEW should be proud of that fact. We now feel part of your ‘family’ as you made our move stress free and enjoyable. I cannot thank you enough for the great service and commend everyone there for (genuinely) going that extra mile.

Should we move again (hopefully not for some time) I know that we will call you straightaway to help us out.

Mew The Movers went above and beyond! My moving day to the mainland was unfortunately the same day that Victoria of Wight broke down in the middle of the Solent. After a lot of arguing with Wightlink,my car was eventually allowed on a later sailing but the removal lorry wasn't so I turned up at my new house with nothing but my cat and the clothes I was standing up in. Mew the Movers were brilliant and managed to negotiate with Wightlink and arrived with my lorry on the 6am sailing the following day. (I was very glad to see my bed!). John and the removal guys were absolutely brilliant and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone. Such a helpful company.
