Bought some new hiking boots. The salesman, Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable. Found what I wanted quickly and easily. They were in stock and the right size. Steve advised on how to care for them. I also took advantage of the offer of 50% off cleaning products and a discount for ramblers club membership.

I went in for a pair of hiking boots, Holly was the lovely lady that helped me find a pair that fit the best, she was really kind and had a lot of knowledge on the shoes she showed me. Overall brilliant service and employees.

Excellent service from Neil at the Beverley shop. I was buying a water- and wind-proof jacket for walking/climbing and he gave expert advice on brands and quality. Not pressurising at all.

The customer service from Sam at Millets, Beverley was excellent. He assisted me with buying a pair of Walking Boots. He answered all my queries in a professional manner regarding comfort, durability, waterproofness. Sam advised me on the care of the boots including cleaning, how to keep them waterproof. Also how to use the cleaning spray and waterproof spray you sell in store. He price matched the boots which was excellent. Also he answered all my questions regarding suitable waterproof socks and explained the discount offered with making a purchase at the same time and the discount on the cleaning products. I visited twice and saw Sam on both occasions and made my purchase on the 2nd visit. On both occasions he went above and beyond.

I am a blind man who hates shopping with a passion. I needed some walking shoes for an upcoming charity challenge and I was served by Dan at the Beverley store.
He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and not pushy. It seemed nothing was going to be any trouble to him.
I am never going to enjoy shopping but for a few moments I almost did. Good, old fashioned service and customer care.
I would strongly recommend!

Purchased a Higear deluxe double air bed, which was reduced from £50 down to £15, absolute bargain.

I needed some new waterproof hiking boots as my old ones had given up after 20 years. The service I received today was absolutely first class. The gentleman who served me showed no bias or preference towards any particular brands in the store. He talked me through the pros and cons of each of my favoured options and I ended up with the perfect footwear for my needs. I would highly recommend Millets and will definitely go back again.
